Okay, after you go to Tina's house, THEN come to my house. I'll even feed you, although I think Tina would probably feed you better. Maybe you better come here first so you don't have to compare my food to hers; then go to her house!
I don't know. Remember I'm the weirdo who likes chicken nuggets and pizza. It's not hard to please me. :rotfl:

On another note, my BFF's husband is just leaving Kuwait headed for his 5 hour layover in Germany & then a long flight home to Seattle!!! He lands in less than 24 hrs at home!! Saturday night is a Welcome Home SGT. Umland party. :woohoo: party:
Before he heads off to Fort Gordon for 6 months of school. Then Fort Detrick for 2 years.
That's great he's coming home! Too bad he has to head off again. I don't know how military families do it with long separations like that. :worship:

Welcome aboard new people

I have to run to Downtown Disney then take the monorail to Tomorrowland so I can meet with BillSears from Disabilities board. Please tell me it is over, Monday is being very mean to me today. The outside door is a pocket door and was left overnight open an inch. I need a new bed so I can crawl under it for a week.

I like that stuff also, so am I weird?

I am not sure how they do it. He has been gone for a year. He was in Iraq for 15 months. Home for almost 2 years, then re-enlisted to active duty. He is a lifer, he went through basic the summer before his senior year of high school. Rachel is moving next month the Maryland (this I am excited about, I LOVE the East Coast, so I can't wait to visit, many times, but I am so sad because she is moving away, again), on
May 21st she gets the key to their house. They have never lived on base before. So she will be alone until he comes home. It's only a 9 hour drive from each other. But at least they will be together for 2 years.

Sure, I'll be there! I love to organize and clean big things like closets, stoves, fridges. :yay: It's the little things like dishes I hate.
 Ok. The next mini meet will be in San Jose. We'll can go to the beach, the mountains, San Francisco, whatever you want.........And Beth will just have to get here a couple of days early and hang out at my house;)

I can do that! And I'll make any dipping sauce you want:worship:

Cristabel, I still am up for onsite, but if you want to change no biggie. I will just tag along wherever there is room for me. I don't mind sharing a bed either.

My other Sister has decided not to continue chemo.........:guilty: I need to find out more info on this. I hope she has made the right decision! :guilty:

Seeing as how I didn't get hired back for my summer job this year it's really hard to tell if I'll be able to afford onsite, or even HoJos. You should join us at HoJos!

I'm praying for your sister!

My brother in law is in Cosovo for a year. They have two kids, ages 2 and 4, and she's due to have another baby in July. I don't know how she does it without him.
Then again, Marty and I work together, so I guess we could be considered a little co-dependant.

Cristabel, I hope you're able to find a different job! I think Hojo's worked out fine for us. Maybe Lorealle will give us a choice of buildings 1 or 2, so the rooms with more people could be a bit bigger.

Mel, me too! And I hope you have a fun road trip!

Ohhh, what's the name of the reataurant? I live in San Jose, and would love to check it our.

I can't remember what the name is - I will have to ask him when they get back. I know they serve hot wings.

I love to organize and clean big things like closets, stoves, fridges. :yay: It's the little things like dishes I hate.

Wow! You would have so much fun in my house! My closets are scary!:scared1:

Thanks!
I was really hoping (and still am) that it would be for Alaska. Guess we'll see.

I am hoping for Alaska as well. I would love to cruise to Hawaii but I think it would be WAY over our price range.

I like good chicken strips and LOVE (good) pizza! :thumbsup2

I am all for a mini meet in San Jose!! :cool1:

Wow, big change. At least I'm guessing. I've never been to Maryland so I don't know. But it's nice you've got a reason to go visit now! :thumbsup2

Oh, and I'm only weird because those are pretty much the only kinds of food I like. That, and pasta. But you are probably weird too. Just for other reasons. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: ;)

Deal! But no chocolate in my dipping sauce. I like my chocolate normal, not on chicken. lol
I saw one of those Iron Chef competitions and for once they had a secret ingredient I understood; chocolate! But then they did all these weird things to it!! :scared1: :sad2:

I'm going to email her at some point to see what she can offer. I was just letting a little time pass before I do. Let her recover from our last visit first. lol
But when I do, I'm going to let her know we are mostly all interested in rooms in Building 1.

Wow! You would have so much fun in my house! My closets are scary!:scared1:
I don't scare easily. ;) But I do show up with lots of trash bags. I am brutal when it comes to throwing things out.

Oh, I need you! My DH is funny. He always says we need to get rid of some "stuff", but when I go to throw it aways, he gets peeved and says he will find someone to give it to :sad2: So it stays in a box, in the garage or storage room.......

LOL! That is half my problem with cleaning things out. Unless I drive them to the dump, they just sit in the garage or on the side of the house forever! I will take things to goodwill, but I draw the line with going to the dumps!:rotfl:
And goodwill is getting picky on what they take!

He has a 5 year old daughter and together they have a 3 year old.
Its crazy. She is co-dependant, so it has been an interesting year.

Weird? Me? No way! :lmao:

I'm glad you had fun despite the crowds. Sucks about the four hours in the airport though. What's up with that?
Good luck babysitting!

Mr. CA's cousin's 14 yo daughter's flight was delayed for 2 hours after we had already been there for almost two hours when they told us they were delaying the flight do to a mechanical problem. It was fine because we were able to spend some more time with her but I was sooooo tired from the weekend! We stayed at DL until closing 12 midnight on Sat. night and by the time we all got to bed it was close to 1am and then we had to wait until the kids were asleep because we had brought Easter baskets...not that they still believe but the won't admit to us that they don't! And then we got up at 6:30am for early entry.

Hey everyone! :goodvibes

House is officially back on the market, at a $90,000 price reduction. :scared1:

If it doesn't sell now, I don't know what I'll do. :confused3

Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. The weather here has been awesome, but I know the heat's a comin'.

Gotta go make dinner!

Bye! :goodvibes

Tina,
The place in San Jose is called SmokeEaters. It is on 3rd street. My dh ate 15 hot wings!
Thanks Becci! I'll have to check it out.

Sheesh! Good luck, Callie. I know you really want to move.

I've decided we will be having Easter leftovers for dinner tonight. I started with a hunk of carrot cake with home made cream cheese frosting at 4:00, so I guess I'm eating backwards today. At least I gott my dessert in!

Like that rule--EAT DESSERT FIRST!!!!!!

Callie: I really hope your house sells. I know you want to move. (and I don't blame you--I couldn't take the heat--shoot I'm worried about Vegas in June (but it's a DRY heat)).

Hello Everyone!

Hey Callie, Are you in the Phoenix area? If so, send me your MLS number and I'll put out the word to our team down there and tell them to get that house sold for you!

I am scheming several small trips this fall, and hope that I will be able to meet up with some of you then, but geesh, everything is so up in the air right now.

Hey by the way, just got an announcement from Alaska Airlines they will be announcing a new fare each day for a couple of weeks and the fare will be a 30% discount, but only bookable for the day. So if you have been watching for rates, check this out.

I hope to hook up with Kerry while she is up in my part of the woods if my work/baseball schedule will allow it.
