Remember how we were all talking about a Disney cruise awhile back? My MIL said she heard the Disney ship that is leaving from L.A. is going to Mexico and Hawaii. Has anyone else heard this? I don't know where she got this info from.
I mean, it's what we'd figured when we were discussing it, but I was so hoping it would be Alaska.

Oh well.
I was researching some youtube videos on Alaskan cruises and found one I love. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4drZZUnfS0

If you watch it, you must have the volume turned on. The music is absolutely haunting and very soothing. (It's something called Flying Condor by Cusco. I've never heard of them before, but now I must get one of their CDs!)

Anyway, that's been my escape from Monday today.

Morning ladies! Hope you are all having a good day so far.

I was in a cleaning mood yesterday (after the Easter morning chaos had died down that is) and scrubbed my whole kitchen, cleaned the stove, the oven, emptied the entire fridge (food, shelves, drawers, everything) and cleaned that, etc.
I was sore last night, but it's so nice to have that all done!

This morning I woke up early and cleaned the bathrooms, did some dusting, and some laundry. Now it's only 9:40 I'm ready to go back to bed.

How can I get you to come out to my house to do this for me? I need a Beth in my life!!!!

Yes, the Disney Wonder is coming to LA in 2011!

It will definitely be making Mexican cruises. Some speculation that some Disney cruise will make Hawaiian cruises when the Ko Olina DVC is complete, but that is all speculation at this point. There is also speculation that Alaskan cruises could happen. Right now, Mexican cruises is the only thing to count on the West Coast, but you can visit the Disney Cruise boards for speculation if you're interested.

Good afternoon Ladies! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Busy today doing lots and lots of laundry! Does it ever stop?
My older two kids are on Easter Break this week. My dh also took the week off. We aren't going anywhere (made the mistake last year of going to DL the week after Easter! ) Just some day trips.
Today my dh took Michaela and Grant to San Jose to have lunch at a restaurant that was on the show "Man versus Food". Apparently this guy goes to restaurants and takes challenges on eating lots and lots of food! Don't exactly see the fun in that?
Thursday we are driving up to Grass Valley to see my aunt and uncle. I am looking forward to getting out of town for the day.
Gotta run and pick up DS from preschool!

My house is so quiet. Everyone is back at work, back at school. I hate it. I get used to having the noise and then I miss it. Oh well, summer will be here before we know it and then it will be noisy every day!
Good luck teaching. I know my kids were dreading going back as I'm sure most are.

On another note, my BFF's husband is just leaving Kuwait headed for his 5 hour layover in Germany & then a long flight home to Seattle!!! He lands in less than 24 hrs at home!! Saturday night is a Welcome Home SGT. Umland party.
Before he heads off to Fort Gordon for 6 months of school. Then Fort Detrick for 2 years.

That is so awesome! I REALLY want it to go to Hawaii. My DH & I went on a disney cruise instead of Hawaii for our honeymoon. If they did this, we could do both in 1 trip!

I may be there with my BFF that weekend for our own mini-girls trip (just the 2 of us, no DH's or offspring). Thought she is teetering between that and the previous weekend. If that does end up being the weekend we are there maybe we can meet up for a meal or ride or photopass photo.

DD & I may be there the weekend of Sept 18-20, too. I always try to book our trips when DH is fishing and he will be fishing that weekend...

Would love to meet up with you guys for a bit.

the good news from here is that kitty is doing much better--back to his usual self--into everything (right now I'm having to crane my neck to be able to read the screen . . . .and now he's crawling on the printer) so, I think the third doc's the charm! I'm so excited that the MouseAdventure girls will get to meet him (the other one will be under the bed)

Once you know your schedule a bit more, let me know. I'm pretty flexible and could come up, with or without Zoe, as the need arises.

I'm busy with work today and will reply more later but we had a great time at DL this weekend, crowds were managable...loved the GC!...spend 4 hours at the Burbank airport last night...I'm tired today and I want to take a nap!! And it's Spring Break this week and I am the 'babysitter'...working from home does have it's downfalls...I'll be back later. Yawn!!

I'm glad you had fun despite the crowds. Sucks about the four hours in the airport though. What's up with that?
