Wait. Trust me.

:scared1: ;)
Remember, you can collect tips.;)

:lmao:

I totally forgot about that one. "Now, on the main stage, give it up for......Okrah!!!!"

:rotfl2:

Guess were the jeans of choice when I was in high school.

We don't need to go announcing my stripper name. :rolleyes1

It would only be better if your name was really Melanie....

Jeans when I was in school...Esprit, Girboud (sp), (oh man they were spendy!! I had to pay for 1/2 of them).

Now I love my Silver Jeans & Maurices brand or Hydraulics.

Speaking of, can you believe Miley Cyrus' 20 year old underwear-model lives with her?:scared1: I guess when you have a bajillion dollars you can do what you want.
I guess so. Isn't she only 16?

I've never heard of Dittos either. lol

. I never had the coordination for a hula hoop though.
I used to be able to do a hula hoop! Then just a few weeks ago, I tried my daughter's hula hoop and it was not an attractive sight. I swear I'm just lucky I didn't throw my back out or something. lol

I remember Esprit. And Guess. Those were the two most popular when I was in HS. I had lots of those little cropped Guess jean jackets to wear with my mini skirts. :rotfl2:

Disney Super Mom.... my son was premature and when it came time for him to go to kinder... i really searched my heart and i knew he wasn't ready... his sister was... and way she went with great sucess.

my son just wasn't ready... he was a head smaller than all the other children.. he wasn't able to recognize any letters or numbers or even begin to write his name.. he just wasn't ready.

i kept him home that year.. it was the best GIFT i could have given my child. He started kinder the next year and was confident and sucessful!

Every family has to make the decision as to what is best for them.

My Daughter and Her Husband have a very good relationship with their Pediatrion. I am *just* the Grandmother:goodvibes

And while i can offer my experience and my advice is here **IF** they SEEK it. The choice is theirs.

I have raised my children:yay:

I'm glad I got to have this conversation with you, it allowed me to visit with you as we never have really gotten to before.

WOW... i am so glad there is not a spelling test on this board or i would fail in each posting.

Linda... the image of you as a teenage wearing the ditto courdoroys with love's baby soft:rotfl: ... don't tell me... you were getting ready for a date at the roller skating rink?

Beth and Theresa.... Yo Yo's are shoes... they were platforms that had holes in the middles.. and they were colored sandals. Of course you wanted everrrrrrrrry color.

Hi ladies!! My name is Terrie and I'm pretty sure that I'll be joining you next year on the all girls DIS trip to Disneyland!!!:cool1: I'm sooo excited!!! I even asked my mom to go and she said yes, she'd go!! She's never been to DL or WDW, so I'm so excited for her:goodvibes!! I'm also going to ask my sister and she what she says, but she's in school right now, so I don't know how that will affect her.

This will be our first trip to DL, if we all go. I've been to WDW three times and I think we're going back next year as well. So, two trips for me..if we go next September!!

I need all the info I can get for myself and my mom!! Like cost of rooms, food, tours/events, etc. If there's a page I can go to with all of the info, please let me know!!! Thanks sooo much I hope to be joining you all next year!!!

Welcome!!! I'm so glad you are going to join us! :)

Here's an article on MSN today, 8 Challenges in Autism Today.

Thanks! I'll check it out.

I don't know if this has been discussed here but I just read on a DL fan site through Facebook that DL is bring back it's Light Magic Street Spectacular in 2010.

I had California rolls for the first time in December, and developed a taste for wasabi - even though too much gives me a head rush & I can't breathe (crazy, huh). Yesterday, while at work we went to a little salad bar for lunch, and I got the Santa Fe salad (normal choice for a Mexican, I would say), but then got cucumber wasabi dressing. Oh my gosh - to die for. Lol. Those two flavors were delicious. Oh well, just thought I'd share (still thinking of food w/wasabi early in the morning).

Sushi is just a conduit to get my Wasabi!

Oh and p.s. my friend e-mailed me and she is in the WRONG hotel! We are staying in the Ramada Maingate right across the street, well she is in the Ramada in but like a mile away! I TOLD her which one and yet they STILL got the wrong hotel. UGH! I don't know WHY they put so many of the same named hotels on the SAME street! My aunt did the same kind of thing a few years ago. We were staying at the Fairfiled inn Marriott and she made ressies at a Fairfield Inn but in Anaheim Hills. WAY far away. And this was in the middle of July but LUCKILY they were able to get her a room. But our friends are only coming up for a day and at least they are just down the street but still! It just amazes me how many times I can tell people something and they STILL don't get what I am saying LOL.

It happens to the best of us. I was staying at the BW and my friend ended up at another. Some places aren't very helpful about it either. Like when my friend called she asked if it was the closest to DL and they said it was close to DL and still booked her!

Awwww, I wish you, your granddaughter, and her parents all the best. I'm sure they'll make the right decision for her when the time comes. You're a very caring and loving mom and grandmother.

ohh, just greeeeeeaaaaat

Nice :thumbsup2

Hey now, where did that weenie tag come from???

Where is Stacie so the tag fairy will go back to picking on her?? :rotfl2: Well, bye bye Animal tag. Had fun partying with ya. ;)

ohh, just greeeeeeaaaaat

That's hilarious. :rotfl2:

Hey I remember Baby Soft. I even went on a few dates at the skating rink. :goodvibes

Does anyone remember A-Smile jeans and overalls? They came in all these soft colors like pink, blue, and green......and they had an upsidedown icecream cone emblem on them. I used to love those when I was in school.

I want to hear the "weenie" story.
Well, AmySue posted this:
Yoyos, chinese jump rope and click clacks!!!!

To which I replied:
I have no clue what those last two are. I know what a yoyo is, but never used one. I don't know how. :rotfl:
(not realizing yoyos were shoes! not the child's toy. lol)

Then Theresa posted this in response to me:
I was going to say that, but I didn't want to look like a weenie!!! I can't yoyo either - don't have enough coordination!!

And I had to open my big mouth and say this:
Well, you know me. I don't care if I look like a weenie.

And so the weenie tag was born. ;)
