Girls Only Disneyland Trip ~ Old thread, link to new one in first post

First, copy the URL to your trip report.

Then go to UserCP and Edit Signature.

In the box where you edit the signature (and this is the same as if you wanted to put the link-as-word(s) into a post, by the way) you'll see that list of things above the box...starting with the B for bold, I for italics, etc, and ending over on the right with the "pound sign". In the middle you'll see a blue ball with a "link" under it. If you hover your cursor over it, the words "insert link" should pop up.

So you click on that ball-with-link, and a pop-up box will, well, pop up. Paste your URL into the box, and click OK.

Then you'll see some code posted in the signature area, with your URL inside of it. It will have a bracket, then URL, then =, then a quote and the URL, then the brackets end, and there's your URL again, and it should be highlighted.

So instead of the highlighted URL again, you will replace that with the words you want as your link. So put in "Ayden's Fun Trip" or something like that (without the quotes) instead of the URL. so you'll see [ URL = "http etc etc" ]Ayden's Fun Trip [ / URL ] . That's what you want, only without all those spaces, LOL.

Then click to preview the signature, and if it looks right, save it!

First and foremost, I want to thank you for the extensive feedback you and your Guests shared with me. As you had referenced below the only way that we can learn and grow is from feedback both positive and constructive. I truly believe in this and appreciate you taking the time to compile the below.

In researching the visit, it appears you and Kariane had worked very hard to create a very memorable and fun experience for your Guests. Both Kariane and myself were very disappointed to her that the overall tour did not meet the standards we are known for. Please know, we will be following up with all appropriate areas to make sure they receive your feedback.

Based on your disappointing experience, Kariane and I would like to reimburse you for the charges you received. Kariane will be processing the return today. You should see this reflected on your credit card within the next 5-7 days.

We do hope that you will book with us in the future. We would love the opportunity to not only meet but exceed your expectations! If you do choose to book a tour in the future, please feel free to contact myself or Kariane directly so that we can personally work on the visit with you.

Now, don' t you all be running out to spend your $75 just yet, because I do have a life (unlike Beth, who only does laundry and dis's:)) and hubby is out of town, leaving just little old me to do the baseball practice, game, trumpet lesson, ortho appointment life, not to mention the full time job thing. I need to get my cash stash out from under the bed, go to the bank, and then enter your addresses into my pay bills online thing because I don't actually own stamps anymore, and if I have to go to the post office too, well who knows when that would be done! But I suspect that by Sunday the checks will be in the mail.

Hey Jenn. PM me your address please. I expect a refund from HOJO and want to send you some money too!

PS Called HOJO reservations, and got the Kids Suite booked Dec 17 to 23 for $107 a night. That is AP price, but isn't that amazing??? I keep looking at it to see if they messed up.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO happy to hear you girls are going to be getting a refund!!!! What excellent news. Working in Customer Service myself as a supervisor in the insc industry, the power of feedback goes a long way. At least it does with companys that value your feedback. Kudo's to you all for speaking your mind! And yay for Disney for living up to the Disney magic!

I'm so sorry I haven't been on much lately.....I've been busy working on school stuff. Yep, this "old" lady is going back to school. Oh wait, sorry, the popular PC term that many universities seem to use is "non-traditional student". Haha, non-traditional is one way to put it. :lmao:

I'm going back to get a Masters degree in Elementary Education. Then I'm gonna scare me some youngins' in the classroom! Mwahahahaha! :stir:

Kelly - I'll keep your family in my prayers. It's so sad to see a beautful young person like Lynn choose the wrong path in life. But as you know, sometimes no matter what a loving family does to help, that person is determined to continue down that wrong path.....and the only person that can change their path is THEM. I'm just stopping in for a moment quickly. I've been offline for a few days, as I injured my foot at Zoe's bday party. Well, I went in and discovered I have a hairline fracture, then I had a reaction to the pain meds they gave me. I've been a blob for a few days and am now in pain, too (since I refuse to take any more of those pills!)

YEA! I knew Disney would come through once I read the description of the tour on their website with your guide being a storyteller. Tracey a big, big thank you for doing all this work and staying with it. :worship: :cheer2:

Would Paypal be an easier way for your to do the reimbursements? Do whatever is easy for you and take your time.

Guess what Tracey... i'm going to take my mom's and mine refunds and turn around and give it back to them in a few months.. we want to do the christmas tour.:rotfl2:

I'm not going on the Oct. mini meet.. our family talked about it and we decided we would rather go in Dec and stay at the grand californian... sooooooOOOooo upon the recommendation of miss LindaLou and WendyLouWho ... i went ahead and booked two standard rooms ..:cloud9: yeahhhh.

No worries. Paypal would probably take me longer. I hardly ever use it and would have to do password recovery, and the message would go into quarantine and then it would take a day for those to get delivered. Well, you get the message right? PS I love the sound of that bracelet!

:rotfl: And for me it was the opposite. I am usually running around the park when I'm with my kids. We get so much done because they don't let me stop! Our last day there, we opened the park at 8 and closed it at midnight, with very few breaks in between. :eek:

But on this trip for me it was all about the fun group meals, the shopping and just taking my time and chillin. Stick with me next time, I'll show you how to take it slow. ;)

They should, but I doubt they will. It really should say that it is for someone new to Disney who needs a guide to basically show them around. Seems like that is all they are willing to do.

The same with me as it was fun to just set for Ariel's or do a scavenger hunt instead of go go and go. I tried the Orange Stinger and never again will do that. I tried new foods and saw DLR from a true celiac experience that I never saw before. I did the shopping also and for once in a long while did Disney in a new way that was a lot of fun without rushing to ride like I had to go down the list and see them all.

I am looking forward to the April and October meets very much. Now to loose 30 pounds I gained this year and get me an ECV.:woohoo: It is nice to be around people who do not judge you and are nice to you despite your neurovariations. It is ahrd for me as I was not born with social skills it seems but had to learn them.

I agree - still won't be recommending that tour or volunteering to coordinate. I just had a last minute glimpse into that time Tracey put into this and it was WAY too much for the buy off (though I will always remember the Lilly Belle experience)!

Beth - Don't ever get a life if the trade off is you not thinking up & being on the Dis!

I could swear Randy was talking about the guy who plays the guitar and doesn't have glasses when he made that Edward comment. You know, the really cute guy who one of the judges said he shouldn't have mentioned he had a wife. Danny has glasses, lost his wife recently and wore that awful white Polar Expedition jacket last night. He has a wonderful voice but the clip of him cracking up in front of Randy Travis looked unprofessional.

My own choice would be Adam, but I think it'll be Danny. Anoop did a nice job last night, Stacie, you're right.

Hi all! Well last night WAS fun! We went to mom's and had our corned beef and it was so YUM! Love that dish although it is practically all salt but SOOO good! Then I brought over a mixed berry pie and it was a nice evening. We made it home in time for the idol and everyone was REALLY good although I didn't like that Megan girl so I hope she goes tonight. But anyway then this morning I get a call from Shane, apparently Lynn has run off AGAIN.

This time she did it to my parents. Apparently after I got back from the girls trip and we found out she stole the money and then searched her room at my parents and found the note saying she was staying out all night drinking and then she lied and said she wasn't well she HAS been doing it cuz she apparently did it AGAIN last night and this time didn't come home. So now the cops are over at my parents house taking yet ANOTHER statement and this time my parents said they are through. They said as soon as she got caught in the act they were done with her and I told Shane once she got caught stealing and after we found out that she was back to drinking and partying that she was done. She is also flunking out of school so I think she is going to have to go live at a youth home because we just CAN'T trust her anymore. I know "I" can't live like that anymore. Shane seems to think she may be on her way to find her mom but we have custody so she can't live with her unless she just plain doesn't go to school but I don't know.

It is just a sad state of affairs. A wasted life. I just know my sanity can't take it anymore! It is pretty bad that I am sitting here once again waiting for the police to call so I can give them her dental and medical info in case they find a body and then after that I have to go get a safe deposit box for my cash because I am afraid she is going to break into my house and steal my loose cash. Seriously sad state of affairs! :(
