I want to do the BBQ in October with the kids. I also want to do Goofy's Kitchen with them in October. Has anyone mentioned anything about Oct yet? I knonw others were planning on bringing their kids. This is my one and only shot with them, so I want to do things that I think they would love.

:rotfl2: We posted this idea at the same time. Dirty minds think alike.....or something like that.

Exactly! :worship:

I would love to do the BBQ. I'm local so I probably will have my DD with me unless she finds something better to do.

October is my birthday and I plan for taste pilot and not sure what but this year I am buying me presents and going to have me a DLR special birthday, maybe the salty tri tip. Not many places to choose from that I can get a nice meal other than pizza, taste pilots and coke corner. I love Ariels and like the baked chicken so probably will do Ariels:cloud9: :cloud9: as Blue Bayou was closed last time I was there and is over rated. :scared1:

If I have an eCV by then maybe do PCH Grill or Goofy's as he knows how to treat a lady right.

I have only had great experiences at both Minnie's and Lilo and Stitch. But then again, I'm not very difficult to please.

I also would consider doing a meal offsite one night.

That would be nice...you know, not being charged outrageous prices for normal or smaller portions of food.:rolleyes1 Just saying...

Holy smokes you guys were very chatty!!
Callie~ insurance companies just suck!! GET TO THE DR!! you haven't been 3 years girl!! You are freakin me out!! I hope the lump thing is nothing. But hopefully they will do an ultra sound or maybe get ya smooshed..I heard it isn't fun, but something that maybe be needed!!

Oh speaking of ROCK!! I saw Race to witch mountain...oh DANG!!!!!!! Dwayne Johnson, really is HOT!!!
ok well I gotta work at 5 AM...I love OT. So I better hit the hay!!

Did you guys do Lilo & Stitch for breakfast yet? As a group that is?

I didn't know the Ent rate came out for those dates.
I know when we were there and Amy and Jane were checking out, they forgot to ask for the Ent rate for Sunday so they asked upon check out and the guy wouldn't give it to them. He said something about having already run the card. :confused3

I will be so curious to see what Heather finds out! As Beth said Amy & I were denied the Ent rate that we had previously requested (and we even showed our card at check in) because according to the guy it wasn't marked on our reservation and he had already run our cards. Since we were running late for breakfast at Mimi's we didn't force the issue as it was only around $10 each that we would have gotten back. But, if the Ent was available every night and Lorealle had told us that we would all get it if it became available, suddenly it seems more worth it now that it's more like $40 each!

Im in for next year!!! Well.. maybe for a day or two. Im afraid my husband crap his pants at the idea of me leaving him home alone with all these kids. :lmao: Heck.. He isnt all that fond of me leaving him alone with the babies so I can take a shower. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oooo, I'm going to have to look that up! :rotfl:

If you are a bartender then I'm going drinking with you next time. Maybe in June in Vegas. :thumbsup2

So was the movie any good? I mean other then the Rock being hot. lol

And nope, we haven't done Lilo and Stitch yet. I did it with my family, along with January and her DD, and we had a blast.

OMG - bowling would be so fun! And all those restaurants at Garden Walk are so good and priced about the same as many onsite places. It's a far walk from Hojo's, but we have a year to work the transportation out!

The problem with Minnie's is that it is hard to be in the parks early and not walk on popular rides and collect FP's. When you are at a character breakfast outside the parks you just enjoy being where you are.:) I think we should do both, after all, we have 5 mornings next time.;)

Christabel - I would order two entrees, and just have a snack for lunch.

I tried to get the Ent Rate for Sunday, too and the guy kind of acted like he knew nothing about it, so I just dropped it. I had such a good time and didn't want to haggle over $15. Anyway, Lorealle was very good to us.

Can't look that up at work.....I'm blocked.

And no, we haven't done Lilo and Stitch as a group yet. Some of us will be doing it in April though.

I have Hojo ressies for Oct. 22-25th, and I will have Ty & Dave with me. We will probably do the MToTP on Friday night as we had a great time at it this past year. Now, I just have to think of a group costume even more creative than our Lilo, Stitch & Cobra Bubbles that we did already...:rotfl2:

I never tried the cupcake, but cupcake is a code word my BFF & use for umm...something else...:rolleyes1

Oh but I did have chocolate covered strawberries....yummo!!!

October I am bringing the kids. If there is a girls nite, I am sure I can talk Jordan into watching his brother. He will be 13, it will be ok right? Not at the parks, but at the hotel. He watches him at home. I think I am coming Thursday -Sunday. I am pretty sure. Doing the trick or treat thing. We have never done it & the boys would love it!!
I think Lilo & Stitch for Breakfast one morning.
Then I need a glass or two of Magicale..anyone up to sharing a bottle???

Oh you had asked for it at check in? Well, then you should definitely get it.
I think Lorealle said we'd get the rate if we asked for it, but I didn't think to ask if it had been added for any other dates.

Hi Megan!!! :yay: He has a whole year to get used to the idea. ;) Did you vote?

Yep, and isn't there some sort of shuttle or transit bus?

That's why we should do it as a very late breakfast. Last seating. We get in early, get our ride on, then after we walked onto everything we wanted and collected a fast pass or two, then we sit back and enjoy our breakfast.

OK so I have you and Heather both coming and bringing the family.

Maybe I can get everyone who's going in October to PM me with their dates and who's coming with them. That way we can keep track of who will be there, and maybe even get the kids ages to see who might want to hang out with whom. :confused3

I'm not sure if I'm bringing my kids in October or coming solo. But either way, I'd be up for some girl time. :thumbsup2

Sounds like a plan!! I am going to bartend all summer so I can save money for October & next year & tuition. I love it!!
What kind of flavors do you like?? I could come up with a drink by then. oohh..I could try it out myself first.

Can't look that up at work.....I'm blocked.

I saw that. hmmm...I wonder if I could get a cheap flight for the day? :lmao:

I love Lilo!! I thought of dressing up like her or her sister for Halloween!!

DD did dress up like her one year. She is pacific islander (guam) and used to love Lilo. We would make fun of her and her dog and call him Stitch.

:worship: :worship:

What?? That lady was on crack. No way do you look pregnant.

Meeeooww! Although, if I was there that probably would have totally cracked me up. :rotfl2: Who knew sweet little Ariel had it in her. :rolleyes1

I agree - Linda, you do NOT look pregnant! And Ariel was very funny - loved it :thumbsup2

Does anyone know how this "free on your birthday" thing works? I know she has to bring her driver's license but do we just walk up to the turnstiles?

Oh! And because we're not too fond of park food (aside from Red Rockett's Pizza & Tomorrowland burgers) I'm taking her to White Water Snacks in the GCH. I know several of you ladies have been, how is it?

Did you sign your mom up online for the birthday perk?? If yes, you can even go to Guest Services (no line there when I went) or City Hall. WWS is good - great nachos :woohoo:

I'm hoping that's the one we do next year.

Also, I don't know if this was mentioned, but it looks like the ent rate came out on the 5th for the 5th, 6th and 7th of our trip. I wonder if Lorealle could issue us refunds for the difference? It's frustrating to me that I didn't think to ask at check in. I had thought about it, but forgot. I'm going to ask Monday when I call to book the 22nd-25th. I'm excited!

Heather - let us know if they honor the changed rate. I paid for my stay in two (the had it as two reservations) and I did not see the changed rate updating on the 5th (and I swear I checked the night before, just in case!).

Debra - if I was there at the same time as you, I would LOVE to share a bottle of Magicale....... But we're going October 8 (so that means I get a bottle to myself )
