Cristobel~ I know that with AT&T I bought Jordan a pay as you go phone & his sim card worked in it. Maybe that might be cheaper.

So the wknd went by way too fast.
I went out with my girlfriends last night. We had a lot of fun, well until we get to Papa's & guess who is there?? Chris & his chic. Ya a little awkward at first. But it ended up just fine. I guess.

My friend last wk asked is he could give his bro in law my number. He wants us to meet up for drinks this wk. He is on graveyard & has Wed/Thurs off. So on Wednesday he texted me. So far he seems nice. He is my new myspace friend. He is 6'7'' (ya so I am 5'4''), his name is Mark, he doesn't have any kids, played college basketball, has amazing green eyes, he is pretty cute. So I guess I am going to meet him for drinks on Wednesday night.

I am not wanting to date anyone right now. But you never know. I have a crazy spring qtr at school. I am going to start bartending on the wknds again to earn money for the Oct trip. (that is going to be our family vacation + the ex), & for the Dec trip. But mostly I really like the tips & its fun.

No, I'm pretty sure January wasn't sitting with us a Carnation.....if she was then, wow, I guess I was really tired too.

I remember Kelly, Rosemarie (Kelly's mom), you, Donna, Michelle, Kerry, and Tracey. I think that's it. I was sitting at the end of the table though, so I didn't get to talk to very many of you. Heck, I spent quite a bit of time with Kelly and her mom during the trip, and I think even Kelly forgot I was sitting with them at the Carnation dinner.

January was sitting at my table.

I might do that. I can always use some extra money. We've got the family trip to SoCal in early June, and I'll need stripper cash for when the ladies come out to Vegas in late June, plus the October mini meet and I'd love to sneak off to DL in December to see the decorations again. So yeah, I'd better get busy doing something to earn money!!


I did a little number crunching and there is approximately 49 weeks until our next Girls Only trip. If I put aside just $15 between now and then, I'll have $735 saved. Now the key is remembering to do that.

Thanks for crunching the numbers. Need to plan and save now.

When i pay bills if i'm not paying it off then i just round up to an even number. i'm always so afraid of getting the numbers reversed.

hhmmm... i'm just gonna save $20 dollars a week... from my boyfriends wallet!

I LOVED those!! I can tell you for a fact, when I was a kid there is no way on God's green earth my parents would have bought me any gift for $799. Not even for $400.

My favorite gift ever was my Easy Bake Oven. I was so happy baking my little cakes. And my Barbies. I had one doll who wasn't a Barbie. She was some sort of knock off and not as cute. So I'd play that she was Ken's girlfriend, until Barbie would come along and steal him from her.

Yep, lots of drama and scandal going on in the Barbie dream house when I was young.

My best friend always wanted an Easy Bake oven growing up, but never got one. I bought her one for her 18th birthday and she said it was the best gift she's ever gotten.

Oh magic light bulb, bake me some cake!

Santa brought my DD one a few years back. She never used it. She put it in the closet and that's where it stayed for a long time. I finally gave it to DBF to give to his DD. She loves it and makes things all the time.

I actually got an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas a few years ago. It's kind of a sad story, my parents divorced when I was 5. My mom and I left in the middle of the night. She said I cried for my EBO. A few years ago, I was talking about one, and how cool I thought it was. Well, she got me one for Christmas. We were 47 and 29 at the time, and we spent the afternoon 'baking'. It was a lot of fun. My mother had kept my tupperware cake carrier play set. Remember those?

Well, it's all the 70's colors, harvest gold, avacado, brown, and tan. It has the mini cake carrier, server, and plates. After we made our cake, we served it up on those! I know we're crazy!

That is a sweet story. I remember those tupperware sets. Brown, orange, green and yellow. Yeah, the 70's were hot.

Hey there. We hit no traffic on the way up to Vegas. We were almost late to our massage appointments though due to two stops on the way and lots of construction off of Tropicana though. I did get to meet up with Beth for lunch today. I think my brother and friends might have scared her some.

I met up with Stacie, her brother and some of his friends for lunch. It was fun listening to their stories of what they'd done so far over the weekend. They are a wild bunch! But that's all I'll say. After all.......(say it with me).....What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas.

Can't wait for another trip to Vegas though. Lots more to do. I actually didn't get home until about 9ish. There was so much traffic. Plus there was some raining, and the wind was horrible. We actually got onto the 15 at 2pm. We stopped in Baker for gyros, and once more in Bakersfield to use the bathroom. But it took almost 7 hours to get home. Crazy I tell ya.

Hey girls! We had a great time camping in the rain and hail!!!!! It was super cold, but so nice to get out of the house. We slept in the back of our SUV, so that was much easier than tent camping, for sure.

Long night for me as I had a soy reaction big time and a tiny wheat probably a couple days ago. All my clean pants are in the cold dryer right now and it is a cold walk to get clean clothes, oh Calvin.

I am so hyped about my October trip. Still not sure on which Sunday we are going next. He is realizing that the park opens at 8 so you be at the parking garage at 7 so you can not fight the crowds and walk a long way. I am so tempted to get us a room at the hotel so he can sleep in and meet me there. He still would sleep until noon if he could.

I am looking at Photopass but not sure if I will get it as I do not need photos of us so what else are they good for, really besides pictures of myself.

I so want to join the DVC but the money is needed for home repairs, new pants, a recliner, unmentionables, food, more food, and a new van and ECV.

Hugs to everyone and prayers for those of you in need or need a hedge of protection. I keep my troll in my heart and prayers as he has gotten me through some hard times by helping around the house and is slowly understanding me and mom but it is hard for him to adjust to her ways.

Thanks again to ALL who have given hugs and prayers. Shane is going to try and call the detectives today and tell them we have still not heard from her or rather seen her and that we HAVE heard from her via e-mail and see what they say. It just amazes me how much they DON'T give a rip. I learned this the LAST time she ran away. They take the attitude that all teens come home eventually but HELLO what if she was one that was kidnapped or murdered. I would hate to be the parents of one that was REALLY in danger. It is SO sad for those that truly ARE in trouble cuz you will get NO help from the cops and your kids are out of luck because of all these other stupid teens that pull this crap.

I told Lynn you better hope that you never DO need help because you WON'T get it because the cops DON'T care. They know you are a runaway and they figure you are on your own. They aren't even REALLY looking that hard. Even last time when I FOUND her we had to go in and get her ourselves because they wouldn't do it. The lack of help by the police is astounding.

She was in a house FULL of underage kids drinking and smoking then when we brought her home and I had a cop IN my house she ADMITTED in front of him that she had been drinking and HE STILL did nothing. I mean WHAT does it take for them to do anything!

She basically told us that she has NO fear of recrimination because she KNOWS nothing is ever going to happen to her and the scary part is who are all these people (strangers) that are helping her. It is only going to take ONE (the WRONG one) that she trusts and we are going to be identifying a body! But whatever. There is nothing I can do!

Anyway I have to work today and then tomorrow it is MORE bloodwork and then I see both my shrink AND my psychologist this week so LOTS to talk about LOL.

At least we have places lined up for her to go and I am going to talk to both of them about her as well and see what they recommend as well and also about family therapy for the girls because this IS affecting them too. We have sat them down and told them that Lynn has made bad choices and this isn't THEIR fault etc.

So anyway the only GOOD news is my trip is less than 2 weeks away I just hope I can enjoy it!

2 summers ago I started bartending. My first wknd was Memorial wknd I made $500 in tips that wknd. I would just deposit my reg pay checks & live off the tips, well I put half of my tips away for DL, thats the year I took my kids for Christmas. Labor day wknd of that year I made $1200 in tips. I worked my butt off from Friday - Monday. I love it, its fun. Being the sober one makes the stories my friend tell funny, because I would always be like, nope it happened like this...

That's basicly what's being done here.. from the grandparents to the parents to the little sisters.. all their peace has been stolen.
