Happy Tuesday, lovely Divas!!! Just checking in - too hot and tired to hang out much today...............

Courtney! ... i did the same thing.. so .. sunscreen..not good to buy at the dollar store.. i saw a pregnancy test at the dollar store and thought..not sure i would want to save money on that!

Dawn - you were looking for a pregnancy test??? Something you want to share with the group, hmmmm??

Now I will be traveling to parts of Canada when you are gone, not sure how much internet access I will have. I am happy to hear you're going to SF, I love that area but rarely get up there as its so far away (for being Calif).

Donna - where you going in Canada??? Anywhere West Coast? That is the Best Coast, you know?

Sarah - man is it ever hot right now!!! It's 89 degrees INSIDE the house as we speak.............. I'm just melting...........

We live in Blacklick! Right next to Gahanna. I really love this area. There is so much to do and the weather has been awesome. My husband and I would like to bring the kids to to San Diego sometime for vacation. I have never been there and understand it to be a fun city.

Hello! I know, crazy huh? I heard Seattle got to 100! I am lucky that I am in an air conditioned building for 16 hours today! I can't imagine being home, we don't have a/c and our house is notorious for attracting and holding the heat (now ask me why we decided to paint the house a dark charcoal gray) Hope you can cool off soon! Or come down and visit me and we will go to the waterslides!

Guess what I found this past week? My martini glass shirt. I hadn't seen that thing since the first ladies trip. It looks like I had stuck that thing in the suitcase I used that trip, and forgot about it. For the trip to Vegas over the weekend, someone needed that suitcase, and they "found" it in there. And yep, doesn't fit any better than it did back then. Even with creative stretching.

Well, thank you for the compliment Dawn!! I am thinking about starting a couple outfits for my DD. We are scheduled to go to WDW for free dining the end September...so thinking of some manner of skirt and top based on Snow White, loosely, can't get too princessy since she is 9 and a Cinderella work outfit.

I do have two taggy blankets cut out and pinned for two clients with new girl babies, just haven't pulled out the machine.

Ah, too bad Debra! I hope you have a great time at the Gorge. My dh and I tried seeing Dave Mathews there once and it was a total disaster for us (picture drunk people stumbling over us and spilling alcohol all over us plus being way away from the stage and not being able to see anything!) We decided after that to only go to theater and symphony type of arts events instead of "concert" events. Ah, live and learn. How's your foot by the way?

Linda told me all about her getting the Paradise Pier Concerige.. and so I called about it..they didn't have it avaliable.. but they had the grand californian concerige.. so i called up CheryL and said ...hey.. guess what.. me and my really good friend are gonna stay at the grand concerige on the weekend of the 18th ... she's HaPpPy too! We've never stayed anywhere conceirge and can't wait to experience it. You know i'm the picture monkey..i'll take pics. It will be so nice to get to visit.

Amysue.. i wanna see pictures of what you make your daughter. I wish I could sew.. i put things together with that stitch witch and then take it to be sew on. Your daughter is lucky she has you for a MaMa! She would love a twirley skirt! How is Your knee doing?

Just checking in! Computer is finally working. Day one of my exam SUCKED!!It was as hard as I feared. Parts of it I think I did very well, but overall I wasn't confident.

I have a room booked and paid for at the Grand for Sept 18th, but it was made with that homeschool educators group package and I don't feel like being interrogated on the spot if it happens. I had shared my feelings with Linda on my birthday and had decided I was going to cancel, but I really don't think I can wait until the end of October to go back... what to do?!

I know about computer issues. I am taking catching up on this thread one page at a time because my internet is so unpredictable. Today has been good though. I took an exam tonight too and it sucked as well. Who has a class from 7:15-10pm? In Indiana, 10pm was past my bedtime. That's 3 hours later than here!
