*Girls DL Trip* OLD THREAD

Good morning my peeps!

Beth - Big birthday wishes for your girls! Hope you all have a wonderful time today.....you tankini goddess you.


I have nothing fun to report. Wish I did, but I don't. Hmmmmm, let me think.....well, we're trying to decide about a trip to Disneyland. Should we go? Should we not go? Do we want to spend the money on a trip, or should we save the money for what seems like the inevitable death of appraisals/appraisers? Should we splurge on a trip while we can? Or should we save the money for a rainy day fund? (sigh)

I've been lazy the last week and a half and haven't gotten anything done yet that I need to, like get a background check/finger prints at the public safety building, or take the dreaded Praxis 1 test (it's a pre-professional skills test that education students must take). It's like a 4.5 hour test on math, reading, and language skills, and a writing promt......basically questions like what you'd find on the SAT. I seem to be procrastinating.

But, ugh, I really need to take the darn test. I should probably do it soon, like next week......and I don't wanna! WHAAAAA!

Oh Cheryl - I am so sorry about Chase. I know how hard it is. You did the best you could. He was such a sweetie. I wish I could take some pain away, but all I can offer is a hug and my heartfelt condolences. RIP indeed, Chase.

Hi everyone-

first of all thank you to Dawn and AmySue who have been great supports the past few days.

Chase died this morning--I probably should have had him euthanized yesterday or the day before, but waited and took him in to do it today. We got there and the doctor said given his breathing it would just be a few minutes. So we wrapped him in a towel and hugged and petted and talked to him and a few minutes later he was gone.

He had an uncomfortable last night (for all of us) but he died on his own terms. I'll miss him but I'm glad he's in pet heaven. He was a sweet kitty and everyone who met him loved his piercing blue eyes and funny personality.

Oh babe, I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope you're okay and I wish I was there to give you a big hug and some girlfriend support. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Cheryl - I am sorry about Chase but I have to say that is the sweetest thing I have every heard for the end of a pet. You were able to be there and let him know how much he meant to you...he could only feel the love I am sure. Big hugs.

Cheryl I am so sad to hear this. No matter HOW old our pets are it is always so hard to lose them!! BIG HUGE hugs to you!!! I know that must have been terribly hard! I'm so sorry! I am sure he is up in kitty heaven having a nice time though and pain free which is all that matters!

I was up way to early again, 6 a.m.! Why? Heck if I know.

But that's ok. I am excited because today is Lindsey and Hannah's birthday and we have lots of fun plans and a hotel room booked for tonight. Gonna play tourist.

I am so sorry I just barely skimmed messages from the past few days and can't respond back to everyone that I want to. I had such a crummy day at work and came home and just bawled my eyes out. I can't even really tell you why, just having one of those days.

Oh well Big Brother starts tonight and I love that stupid show!

I was thinking the same thing. I know she is strong and all that, but she had Chase boy a L-O-N-G time. When I lost Coco a few months ago, I was a mess for a couple of days. Hopefully she is with her mom and Miss Bella is so active and cute that her mind is occupied with that....
