I've heard the Gospel Breakfast is quite nice. Here's the link for the breakfast:

It looks like we'd all have to buy our tickets for the same seating. The menu looks awesome. It is pricey though.

My Vegas girlies: I'm planning to celebrate my 21st birthday in Vegas with my sister, Diana. Where do you recommend we stay/play/ eat? I don't know what our budget will be as of now but I'm hoping to have secured a job in the OC by the time of our trip. I'm about 99% sure we will fly because neither of us will want to drive. My tentative dates are October 30 to November 2nd. Is there anything in LV that would cause huge crowds for Halloween?
I plan on heading back home on Nov. 2nd in the morning so I can arrive in the burbank airport and drive to Disneyland. Gotta have the best of both!

I just got back from a podiatrist about a bump in/on my right ankle. Long story short no matter what it is, it has to come out. I have to get X-Rays and possibly an MRI. He said it's either a cyst or a bone spur/chip. I'm not sure which I'm hoping it is. If it's a cyst I'm worried if it's benign or malignant. If it's a spur/chip I'm worried about the overall strength of my ankle. I'll keep you all posted on this as I find out.

Crowds shouldn't be bad then. Weather should be much nicer, cooler.
Stay mid Strip is possible. Mirage or TI or Caesars. Planet Hollywood is nice too.
I'd see a Cirque show if you can find a deal. KA is one of the more spectacular imo and I think those who've seen it will agree it's great. Gotta do at least one buffet. Spice Market at Planet Hollywood is good, or the buffet at the Rio. There's tons to do and see.

I would suggest somewhere for a CS lunch. Like Rancho where everyone can grab something from other CS places and meet there to eat. You can get something from French Market, chimmichanga cart, Stagedoor or wherever and just meet up there at the time for lunch/dinner.

An off site meal would be nice, but getting there might be an issue for some. Not everyone will have a car or access to a ride. Unless we do somewhere within walking distance. I don't have any suggestions for that.

A meal in DTD might be nice. I did enjoy Tortilla Jo's last time I was there. Might be an option.

As far as the candy buffett.....I think we need to go over that with the meet and greet/welcome committee and see.

Hope your evening goes well at work - Jesse and I were down in your area this a.m. (with over half an hour wait at the border by 8:30 a.m. ). Lots of guys in uniform wandering around today........... but a nice quick trip for some shopping and back home (did stop at the Burger King for a not so healthy breakfast )

I was over at the Nexus Office...it is so crazy that we came within a football field of each other and didn't get to see each other! I know, the wait was crazy earlier and will be even more crazy tomorrow and friday! But at least it is nice weather. All the people wandering around are a bunch of newbies being trained. We have so many!

My mom came through her surgery very well and was awake and talking to us tonight. The doctor said that he did not find any other cancer cells and that it was contained in the one nodule...a huge relief for us all! They will know the final results early next week after pathology has a look at the tissue.

She might get out of the hospital tomorrow and her sutures out next Tues. and then they can go to their home in Southern CO.

I'm exhausted but very relieved.

I'll be back in LA tomorrow to repack...I need sleep and a vacation!

The doctor said that he did not find any other cancer cells and that it was contained in the one nodule...a huge relief for us all! All you Diva moms to little princesses out there...do I have a story for you!

I just called DH to check on the kids since I am working a double and guess what....he got the joy of telling me that our 50 some year old babysitter didn't like that my daughter's hair was in her eyes so she.....CUT IT! I am absolutely LIVID! First haircuts are huge in my family and something I was really looking forward to with my ONLY DAUGHTER!!!! She didn't even save the clippings! I had a haircut scheduled for her for Thursday with a family member and we were going to discuss what hairstyle would be cutest on my daughter and decide on the cut based on that! I am ...... words are almost beyond me....well a couple of ones that would get bleeped here are the only ones I can really think of so we will just leave those in my head! . I tell you this...she should be
