I am happy to report that the tattoos are just henna ones, not permanent! It appears from conversations yesterday that the highlight of the day was Dick's Last Resort. Ask Marcie about the 100 ounce margarita and a man named Taco...

Last night was dinner at BLT Burger, LOVE and Revolution. Dinner was nice and nearly everyone was there (Dawn didn't join us). Depending on your perspective, LOVE was good, interesting and or a disappointment. There were lots of different opinions in our group, obviously! Sadly there was a technical glitch after the second song that caused a 20 minute delay and it appears that they skipped one number before moving on with the show.

The delay definitely colored some people's opinions of the show, but all in all I thought it was good--although I am not sure that I actually understood 100% of what they were going for storywise and metaphorically. My favorite parts were Help! (rollerblading), Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (a woman performing aerial work on a scarf), Octopus's Garden (great aerial work and really cool puppets that were created by the same man who did a lot of the Lion King stuff and most recently created the new Flotsam and Jetsam and Dumbo puppets for Nightastic!), and of course All You Need is Love (the big goodbye number after the finale).

After the show we went to Revolution for 2 for 1 drinks. It was super crowded when we got there, and a "reserved" sign at one table may or may not have disappeared so that we could sit there! However, once the 9:30 show started the place totally cleared out and we virtually had it to ourselves. Beth, Stacielee and a few others were totally fascinated with the interactive features of the table that allowed them to use it kinda like a magnadoodle--they could draw, move things around, etc. Meanwhile Cheryl and I were totally transfixed with watching the other Divas play with the table, so I am not really sure which was worse! Around 10:15ish Amy and I both called it a night as we had to work today (stupid job gets in the way of having fun), so I am not sure what else happened.

Today Stacie(rita) and Cheryl are going to a spa, Deb is planning to just chill and I think the others are planning to hit Forum Shoppes, the Bellagio and Serendipity III before heading to Tony and Tina's Wedding tonight. Depending on how the day is going I may pop down to the Strip and join them for lunch. Otherwise Amy and I will both be catching up with Theresa and Beth for Ka tomorrow night.

Darn you Jane...you were not supposed to spill the secret that they were Henna tattoo's.

You haven't had to bail anyone out of jail yet? That's good...or is it?

That's disappointing that Love was not as great as expected. You all paid big bucks for it also. Hopefully everything else lives up to it's claim!

I thought LOVE was good. Although I have never listened to the Beatles, so I was a bit confused.

Then us girls gambled a little bit.
Tony & Tina's wedding was great!
It was so fun!!!

My knee is killing me today. So after the wedding Stacielee & I cabbed it back to the room. The others are still out playing.

I've made the frozen hot chocolate at home from a mix I got at Williams Sanoma. I bet the real stuff is better.

Beth had to feed her family??? Can't she just pour some cheerios into a big bowl and call it good for a few days???

Hope your knee feels better. I know what you mean. I hurt my knee while I was there on my one and only trip and then it was SO dang hot and we didn't have a car. I had to walk everywhere and it was DOUBLE the size of my other knee just from walking around. By our last day we broke down and rented a car cuz I couldn't take it anymore.

I made my train ressies last night for NY so that is done and was looking at the info for the statue of liberty. I know no matter what I want to take the girls there and to the Empire state building and WTC. After that it is up in the air. We will be there Fri afternoon all day Saturday and part of Sunday before we head back to D.C.

We will have less time in D.C. but it will be worth it cuz I have always wanted to go to NY. Now we will kill 2 birds with one stone.

We won't get to see everything in either place but some in each which will be good. I am just glad we are still going and I actually feel safer going with Shane to those cities then 2 women and 2 kids!

Glad you still get to take the girls on the trip, and it will be fun to have Shane along too. Hope they figure out how to help you with your headaches. I just get regular headaches from too much stress, but I have a difficult time being productive when I get a headache. Hey, maybe that's the point??

Did you make it to the train tour? I haven't seen anything about that and was dying to know. It is scheduled here on July 3.

Have you seen the Haunted Mansion Pins that are just being released at the parks. Many of them have an open house theme. They are too cute, especially for those of us in the Real Estate field. Now I just need to figure out how to me some of those!

Katie, I am sorry that the job offer did not come through. I agree with everyone that you should be darn proud at how far you made it through the process. That was impressive! I am one of those people that believes that everything happens for a reason, even though we may not know what it is. Hang in there.

Vegas Gals: It sounds like you all are having a wonderful time and I am so glad for you! I saw Love and liked it, but it wasn't what I was expecting, so it was dissapointing. Now, I feel like I totally missed out on the bar experience though! Also, I have not ever tried Margaritaville and that sounds fun.

No we didn't make it to the train tour. We were totally whiped (sp?) out after the meet on Saturday. Shane really wanted to sleep in for once and I just couldn't wake everyone up at the time required to get down there on Sunday so we skipped it. I REALLY wanted to see it but we would have had to get up REALLY early to get there in time. We were up at 5 on Saturday and then spent 8 hours in the hot sun on Saturday at the meet so we were exhausted. We didn't even leave the house on Sunday LOL. It was nice to just veg for once!

As far as my headaches go, yeah I sure hope he can help. I am going to ask him why I am getting more all of a sudden cuz I am taking the Topomax which is supposed to be a preventative AND the BC pills and yet I am getting them almost daily again. So not sure what is up with that and as I said I am out of any prescrip meds. So I am hoping he can help me. It really does me in on trying to do much. Hope you can get some relief with yours cuz they sure can make you miserable!

Those pins sound REALLY cute! I hope they have some when I go in Oct. My mom would LOVE one! Would make a great x-mas present!

Okay, so copy the link of your TR. Then you can go to the edit your siggy part. Type out what you want your title to be. So let's say "Tracey's Super Duper Awesome TR". Then highlight that. And then you're going to the top where all the edit things are, like font, bold, size, etc. And click the picture of the globe and the link thing (it looks like a paperclip?) and a little box with pop up. In there paste the link to your TR. Viola!! Did that make any sense? I'm bad at giving directions..

Those sound like great directions! I do it a little different, but as long as it works!

Tracey, when you click on the globe and put your address in it and click ok, the 'code' shows up in your text where your cursor was. If you notice, it shows up with part of the text highlighted. That is the part that we see. You can change it to whatever you want it to say. A different way to do it, but they both work perfectly!

I have the most awesome birthday trip planned! BB for lunch on my birthday, and Club 33 for lunch the next day! It will be sooo much fun, and I'm hoping that they will have the pins in stock this time. If any of the girls who went with me in March want a pin, let me know, and I'll get one to you if they have them. We can work something out. I'm so excited about seeing Dumbo fly, F! (hopefully with the dragon!), and the ELP. I haven't seen it since I was a child! WDW has Spectromagic which also has a place in my heart, but you can't beat the music for the ELP!

I'm nervous about my doctor's appointment tomorrow. I don't want to get too TMI, but I have to have a procedure done in order to try for my little girl. I'm worried it's going to hurt. Keep me in your thoughts.

First and foremost.........Capri, I am so sorry about your Daddy!! My parents are 85, so I know exactly how you feel. Everytime the phone rings late, or if my Mom doesn't answer, and I know she should be home!! That happened just the other day, and I rushed to her house to see what was wrong. Her phone line was acting up, and that was all.....thank goodness! I told her, to please listen for her cell phone too!! Anyways, I will pray for your Dad's recovery, your Mom, and of course you and your family. Take care!

Katie, I am so sorry to hear about the job falling through. I hope you can still pat yourself on the back, and realize that you did really well on the interviews. I hope and pray that things will begin to look up for you. Take care also.

Kelly, you get to go to DC and NYC? How cool is that? When do you go? Be sure to write or email your Congressman to get you into tours, that most people have to wait for, or don't even get to see. Our favorite private tour was of the Library of Congress!! Absolutley beautiful............something you might see in Old Europe! We also had scheduled tickets for the White House, the Capitol and the Mint. All from our Congressman and all for free. The Smithsonians are also worth the time. Our favorite was the History of Air and Space!! Take time for the Arlington Cemetary, and watch the changing of the guard for the unmarked tomb. Sounds weird, but very moving and cool. Be aware that the food near the Malls and Monuments, are very very expensive! Try to pack your lunch if possible!!

While in NYC, go to Central park, (a no brainer) and be sure to take the girls to see the statue, Balto. Have your DDs seen that movie cartoon? It has been a while since it has been out. We took a picture of Kaitlyn by the statue, since she liked the movie. Another suggestion is to get your tickets early for the Statue of Liberty. You might even get to buy them online now. I can't remember...........? If you can't buy them online, get in line ASAP in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise you will be in line forever,(hours!) and might not even get to go! Ellis Island is cheap and a cool thing to do! So is the Metro Museum. A very cool exibit on the Egyptians!!! Take the subs, even though they are creepy. After while you just get used to it. Get online and learn the system ahead of time. You should be able to get maps and everything you need to know. One more thing..........watch out for the cabs!! I'm telling you................they are nuts!!!!!!!! And they are everywhere!!!

Good Morning Ladies! I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow! I'm so happy!! I get 2 days off of work and am going to DL with my boyfriend, little sister and possibly my brother. I was able to change my reservation time to an earlier one for Blue Bayou, due to a cancellation. Right now there is a promo for So-Cali Residents (So-Cal Residents may purchase this for out of town guests as well, according to the CM I spoke with). They have a 3-Day Park Hopper called The Summer Fun Pass for $99. My bf bought one from Ralph's Market yesterday. The also carry it at the Disney Store. The only thing is that the 3-Day Park Hopper has to be used up completely within 45 days from your first visit. It's blocked out for July 4th.

When those gates open tomorrow I'm going to make a mad dash for a dole whip float!!
