Well, I tried to check Chilis hours online, but there isn't any info about when they open. I guess if they don't open for lunch until noon, we'll just have to do a little bit of shopping......or sitting and chatting if you don't feel up to walking around.

DD has been a handful lately. Constant whining and back talk. If I even raise my voice she starts crying hysterically. My nephew is over right now and he loooooves to pick on her. So the crying and whining this morning has been baaaad.

Is it February yet?

If it wasn't for my lactose issues, I would be begging for ice cream!!

I am usually a very strong person. But I am a WHINER!!!!!!!!

I have an infection, they think, so we are treating just in case.
They are not sure if it is red from the surgery or an infection.

My knee flippen hurts a lot!! I am a baby!!

I am just in percocet heaven....

We may be going tomorrow now instead of Sunday. Dh may be laid off tomorrow so we may go tomorrow instead now. NOT thrilled that he may have tomorrow off but it may be better going on a weekday rather than Sunday so we shall see. If so I will let you know how it is!

Anyway last night I took Katy to the birthday party and it was the CUTEST thing!

The little boy from her class thought up the whole thing and it was SO clever. They sent out these invites about it being a movie premier and she wanted to get real dressed up but I had NO idea that it was REALLY going to be that fancy. We drove up to the house and they had a real red "carpet" laid out and these twinkle lights leading up to their side gate. They also found this admit one tape that looked like tickets leading up to it. Then when you walked in the dad was standing there looking kind of like a body guard and he had a clipboard with the names of all the kids that were invited and he checked off katy's name and had a walkie talkie and let them know that Katy had "arrived". Then they had all these stars hanging up and they had grown ups that were all dressed up and they were taking pictures acting like paparazzi. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen. Then when I had come to pick her up they had set up a sheet in the backyard and the kids watched pee wee's big adventure in the back yard and they had the older kids all dressed up in black skirts and white shirts with vests and bow ties and they served hors douevrs (sp) to the other kids on trays. They had cookies made like stars and other things. And they played trivia about the movie. It was SO clever and cute. Katy had the BEST time. They had little plastic champagne flutes that they served the kids sparkling cider in and at the end they gave them jelly beans in them as a favor on the way out the door. SO cute!!

Anyway today we have nothing on except another walk. Yesterday we took cody our dog for a walk and he drug me all the way to the school LOL. He enjoyed getting out of the yard though and the girls had fun climbing on the play structures. Today we are walking to the post office and to walgreens to get my meds. So that should hopefully be fun. The weather is still not too hot so it should be a nice walk. Then tonight we have swim and that's bout it. Tomorrow I have my last day of work till mom gets back and then tomorrow night we will either go to swim or to the train deal depending on what happens with shane's work and then we have the meet on Saturday.

January, I hope your DH lap surgery goes smoothly. I had a lap done last October and my stomach muscles were sore for days. It felt like I did 1000000 situps!

Good morning everyone! It's almost Friday! I am really excited for the weekend because I get to see Donna and do the backstage tour! But I am a little sad too because Bob aka DBF is leaving on Sat. for Boy Scout Camp for a week and I leave for Denver before he comes back so we won't see each other for 2 weeks! I feel like when we were long distance dating! Those weeks between visits seemed to drag on forever! Oh well it's only two weeks, right?

Ok I made 6:30 reservations for 8 people.

Can't wait! I may try to get there earlier but if I take Friday off I may just be running in at the last minute! If I don't take Friday off and stay at DL then I'll make sure to take off earlier on Thursday but regardless I'll be at your birthday dinner! I'll know for sure after this Monday what I am doing it all depends if I get tickets to an event at DL for the 17th.

Sounds good. Oh, I don't think I mentioned it, but is it okay if I bring the baby? She's still attached to my hip or better yet, the BB (I borrowed that from you).

Glad you are bringing the baby! We don't have any babies in our family any more and I miss the little cuties!

Teehee, it is his gall bladder...minor detail, I know. He is having it removed. The surgery will be laparascopic (sp?).

You're not a baby. You had surgery and are in recovery. It's not being a baby to admit it hurts. I hope the antibiotics help, and take those pain pills as needed.

I hope you all have a good day. I'm closing the exchange sign ups late this evening so if you are thinking of joining, you still have today to sign up.

I have a dermatologist appt later on to have some moles checked out. I'm nervous because I've noticed some changes in some of them and I just hope those years of tanning haven't caught up with me in a bad way.

I've been trying to take care of my health lately. Getting lots of tests done. Pap, mammo, skin cancer/mole check, regular physical, dental work, etc. All over the next three weeks.
I know it's needed but man, I hate the stress and worry that comes along with waiting for appts and test results!!! Oh well, I guess if something is wrong, better to know and try to take care of it. Wish me luck. I'll be tense the next month or so until it's all done.

Hello there PrincessKell and welcome!

We welcome all newbies and it sounds like some fun times are what you could really use right now.
All info for the trip can be found on the front page, as well as our pics and links to trip reports from our last trip.

Since it's so far out, we are still in the early, early stages of planning and not a lot has been done at this point. But we will have tours sign-ups for the Segway tour, and the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour. We offer at least one group meal per day. And we have fun activities planned like a Meet and Greet, a Scavenger hunt, and some group photos.

Im Kell, 29 single lady with a seen year old daughter with aspergers syndrome. She is my world. We live in Sonoma Ca. just 45 minutes away from San Francisco! We love it here, but wish we lived closer to Disneyland to go more often. I am a big time sewer, I make most of my daughters clothing witch she totally loves. Just as much as we love Disneyland we love Football.

I look forward to getting to know all you fabulous ladies!

We took Nathan for testing to make sure he qualifies for the research project. It will give us a week of intense therapy for free (normally 5 grand!). It's a mixed blessing to me though, it's great that he qualifies for the project, but sucks that he has autism to begin with. What on earth do I do with all of these emotions? He's been repeating and echoing a lot the last few days also. It's heartbreaking to see new symptoms pop up. Hopefully, they are just a phase.

Where's Molly when you need her? DH and I are fixing to take one for the team. You all might have to deal with my cravings this Oct or Feb. Pray for us that things go well. You all might think we're crazy, but we want one more, and there is never a perfect time, and we aren't getting any younger. Oh, and while you're praying, if you could mention that we want a girl, that would be great!

That's about it, can't decide if I want to join the exchange, but I know I probably will.

What? Huh? Here!

Here in San Diego, with E, getting out of Robert's way while he works his bootay off. He originally accepted a one month contract with the m-soft, and impressed them so much that 2 weeks later they've extended it through August, and everyone is talking in a good way about urging that he be hired directly. He's working hard and we figured we might as well go elsewhere, so he doesn't feel guilty!

Meanwhile he's had his boy-analysis done, and the result of that is that he gets to take HCG injections, to raise his manly hormone levels. Poor dude. Though I think he thinks it's funny, that he'll be doing what Manny Ramirez got in trouble for (same drug). Turns out he's making healthy "swimmers", just not very many of them.

And it's all related to the pituitary thing, that's been going on for awhile but everyone has ignored his symptoms, that he's starting treatment for as well (probably started last night, half a pill per WEEK).

So though I'm still interested in taking one for the team, it's probably awhile off still.
