I watched Kendra the other night. I was shocked by how messy she was.

She and her fiance look cute together. :goodvibes

Oh ladies.... I'm having such a rough go today. My parent's left for Michigan and I'm staying with the pups. Right now I'm at my apartment trying to sort through everything. I had a mild panic attack this morning, but quickly medicated myself so I could function today. No matter how excited I am about being in California, I'm devistated that I'm leaving my mom and dad. It sounds bias to say, but I don't think it's possible to two people in the world to be closer than my mom and I are. She's been over at my apt as much as she can, helping me sort and pack up. Now she isn't here and I'm freaking out. My heart just feels so heavy with sadness right now. :sad1:

Happy Saturday everyone!

Dave had to work this morning (transfer orientation, yuck!) so Ty and I went to Gymboree and now it's nap time. Hopefully Dave will be home by the time Ty wakes up and then we can do something fun. Tomorrow is lunch with Beth and Amy... it feels like forever since I have seen them and I really need a little gf time (and it sounds like they do too)!

Bridgette, hugs to you. I know how hard it is to leave home and go far away. We're here for you whenever you need to "talk". :grouphug:

HI LADIES!!!! Slow day today. Hopefully that means everyone is out having fun, fun, fun!

I've been busy doing stuff around the house and with the kids. I painted Noelle's nails an awesome lime green with pink polka dots. Perfect for the fun loving 12 year old she is. :thumbsup2

Well, I'm off again. Errands to run later tonight, so I'll check back later. :)

Hi everyone. Guess what? I've been busy writing an essay and doing school work. Shocker, I know.

Kelly - I hope things get better with the swim meets.

Debra - I tried to call you today, but you were on the phone. I think I left you a message, but I'm not sure I did it right. Call me back when you get a chance. :goodvibes

Melody - How are you doing?

Callie - WOW, beautiful home! That's it, my family and I are comin' over! Get the guest wing ready! :yay: ;)

Bridgette - Awwww sweetie, I know it's tough to leave your loved ones. Big life changes are always hard to adjust to, but you'll be just fine. You're a strong, smart, beautiful woman!

I need to back track and keep up with what's going on!!

Today was fun, my parents, Jesus (DBF) and I went to the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood to watch Up. It was adorable and we had so much fun. We had lunch and came on home. It was nice doing something with us 4, we haven't done that in awhile.

I hope all you ladies are having a wonderful day!

Thank you so much, your kind words help a lot. I'm definitely going to DL on the 5-7th because I'll need it, even if I am by myself. I got good rates at DLH, so I'm staying on site. It's better than staying cooped up in my tiny Santa Barbara home for days until orientation.

Capri~ I was sleeping. I am not sure why my phone always says I am on the other line when I don't answer. I will call you tomorrow.

Good evening Ladies! I feel so bad that I haven't been on the DIS boards in days! I am so far behind in the thread that I can't possible catch up but I did read from page 115 on. And also took the character meal poll. Things have been crazy around here! I need to make a point to log onto the DIS every day! The problem is once I get on I don't get back off for a long time. :)

I need to add some of you as Facebook friends so I can keep up that way as well.:)

Hope you all have a great Sunday!

Becci

I had to get my diva fix even though I'm really tired and won't be home tomorrow.

Bridgette, it is wonderful that you and your mom are so close.

Kate, congratulations on making it to the top! Good luck.

Hi to everyone.

Tina, thank you for the suggestions. My friend and I went to DL on Friday for her bday and the place was mobbed at noon. I stood in line to get into CA and the line was about 20 deep. But with the help of fastpasses and single rider lines, we did just about everything she wanted.

Turns out she is a coaster girl! Who knew? I've known this person most of my life too. :lmao: So I would use my pass and she'd get two fast passes so she could ride the coaster twice in a row. It was great.

I took her to the new BBQ place. She used to love the old one (as did I). I scheduled it for mid-day partly because we wanted to do CA first and partly because I know it is often better to eat during the off-hours. In spite of the fact that there were lots of empty tables and they saw she had her bday button (and I told them it was her bday), they tried to seat us at the worst table, at the far side, by the kitchen door. You would not be able to see the whole stage from there.

I had to ask for them to give us one of the many empty tables that had a better view of the stage. Now many restaurants are guilty of doing this to two women but I did not expect it at DL.

Otherwise, the CMs were wonderful - really caring and doing their best. The girl that was inside the Jessie costume was just a sweetheart. She made a point of coming to our table twice to "talk" to us.

We happened to see the non-parade while we were in the shops on Main st. To see Gepetto <sp> getting down, well, let's just say that isn't pretty. This may be the worst parade DL has ever done.

Thank you Stacie lee for the Toy Story tips! My first time on that ride in Dl, I scored over 100,000 (and that was with no planned cooperation because I was riding with people I didn't know). But it really does give your arm a workout when you do it twice in a row!

The weather is great right now - very mild at Dl.

Everyone have a great Sunday. I can't wait to watch the NBA championships...:cheer2:

Bridgette girl I so can feel your pain. When I was married to my ex we moved to Washington state and my mom and I are VERY close as well. Sometimes I could throttle here too LOL but I think that is typical of someone who you are close "friends" with. But anyway I had a REALLY tough time being away from her for the three years I lived up there. Plus I was just homesick in general so I totally understand what you are going through. I wish I lived there so I could hang out with you to make it a little easier!! ((hugs)) and as the girls said you are a strong bright gal and I KNOW you will do great. Just try to keep really busy and get really involved in all of your activities and that helps and WE are here too!!

Deb hope you are feeling better and sounds like you got a great guy to help you through it ;)

Callie haven't looked at the house yet but glad you are getting what you want!! Congrats!

Katie congrats on the job!! Here's to hoping it all works out and even if not that is a great accomplishment to make it this far!

Capri keep up the good work on your school work and HI! ;)

Tina hope you had fun at your food event. Can't wait to see pics!

Courtney sounds like you guys had fun. Isn't UP just the cutest movie! And I LOVE El Cap! Great place to see a movie!

And Donna sounds like you had a blast as well! Glad you had fun with your friend.

Oh and Beth Hi to you to and sounds like you guys were having a fun mom and daughter day yesterday ;)

My day was interesting to say the least. I was NOT happy when I got there but Katy and Shane went and talked to the coaches and instead of putting her in the butterfly they put her in the IM! That is the indiv medley which is all 4 strokes!! That is a TOUGH race for a kid. That is butterfly, back, breast and free! She did it but came in dead last of course. I was so proud of her for doing it though. She was scared to death and didn't want to do it but I was just proud that she even did it!

I think it ruined her for the rest of the day though. She was the back stroke leg in the medley relay and they put her on a different team than last week and her team took 6th cuz they weren't that great. Then she swam the indiv back stroke and AGAIN she took 6th wereas last week she got 2nd I think and had dropped her times and I think this week they went up!

Then she did the 50 free which is normally her good stroke and last week she got 1st as well as dropped her times and was almost a whole pool length ahead of the other swimmers well this week she was last again! She went up on her times as well 5 whole seconds. She was just devestated and wanted to go home. Well then they had a scratch in the free relay at the end so that perked her up a bit and she got to swim that and her team took 4th. So after all was said and done she got to swim 5 events and she got 4 6th places and 1 4th. Def not her best day but she did her best considering.

SHELBY on the other hand had one of her BEST days. She swam the 25 free and dropped her time and took 3rd in her heat. Then she did the back stroke which she hates and normally doesn't do well in and got 3rd again and again dropped her time. And then they put HER in butterfly as I said and she actually did NOT get disqualified which I was afraid of AND she actually got 3rd!!!! I couldn't believe it! Although they messed up and gave her the wrong ribbon (a 5th) so I need to get that fixed and NONE of Katy's were in the box so hopefully they will be when we go on Tues (we aren't going Monday because they are having a special thing). But all in all after everything at wasn't TOO bad. The girls said they want to stay through the end of the season at least but I still feel like if they don't start listening to what the girls want then we are going to look for a different team!

Anyway then on top of it all Shane got a call from his mom and Lynn ran off again and so they kicked her out. So she is back to her old tricks. She is in contact with Shane but they had to put out a missing person's report on her since she is not living with anyone and she is just staying with some boy and the problem is now that she is on probation I don't know WHAT this is going to do. The PO TOLD her that if they kicked her out that is was NOT going to be good for her. I told Shane I KNEW this was going to happen. So they are going to bring her stuff down today and she is supposedly going to come pick it up so once again NO church. We have to stay home so his mom can bring her stuff and so Lynn can supposedly come pick it up. Then tonight we have our Girl Scout party but I don't know if they are going to get to bridge or not since our leader said she may not have gotten their vests. UGH! What else is new. We have NOT had a very productive year this year but I am NOT surprised. We haven't done ANYTHING we were supposed to do so this would be just ONE more thing and it figures it is the year KATY is supposed to bridge. Oh well. Anyway. That's all my stuff.

I hope everyone has a GREAT day today will see yall tomorrow!!

Bridgette, it is wonderful that you and your mom are so close.

Yes this is very true! It will be okay, we talk on the phone for an hour every couple of days and they're flying me home during our first break at the end of Aug-Beginning of Sept.

Kelly you're so sweet! That makes me feel better. It would be cool if you were here to hang out, but right now you are all so wonderful and I do know that I always have you all!

Leaving Love and Light for Everyone!
Have a Beautiful Day:grouphug: no matter how simple it may be!

Morning Beautiful Ladies!!

Been a few days since I stopped in to say hi. Nothing really going on here...just struggling with the summertime blues. The weather has been crappy since school got out but we have had a couple great nights of thunderstorms!! We've resigned ourselves to not moving south until we get our taxes back next year.....the only problem with that is......it won't get here in time for the girls trip (hubby knows this is a huge issue). So everything is up in the air regarding that (which I'm sure is not helping with my "blahs").

Tried to scan thru & looks like lots of stuff going on. Good luck on the job interview, prayers for the parents having surgeries, continued healing to our surgery patient, no fun packing up but maybe you'll find something magical as you sort thru stuff.....good luck on the moves. I'm sure there was more I should comment on, but still trying to wake up.........

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!! Sending love & hugs to all!

Howdy Ladies......long time no "write"!

It's so nice to have some of you on facebook...it's easier for me to be in touch there than it is for me to keep up here. Ya'll are so chatty! If you're on facebook...please add me there. So far I have Beth, Callie, Tina and Theresa...anyone else???

Just a quick update on us. We move this Friday and we are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo very excited! The home is beautiful and just literally a minute from my work! We have been packing a room a night so we've been ready and boxes are piled against the walls. Such a good feeling to know it should be a smooth move.

Dr had me do another holter monitor listening to my heart. I should have results by Friday. Dr also had me do another full lab work up. Tests came back saying I am Vitamin D Defecient. So she has me on a prenatal as well as a calcium and Vitamin D supplement. I have never taken vitamins before so this is all new to me. Well except prenatals anyway. Anyone else here vitamin D defecient? I'd love to get another perspective.

Ayden ended the school year on a WONDERFUL note! His report card he scored the highest he possibly could in EVERY area!!! I AM SOOOOOO PROUD!

I posted that before finishing so sorry for teh double posts!
Anyway...Ayden's report card couldn't have made me more proud! He was pretty proud as well.

He finished off T-Ball being the last batter of the last game. They did some coach pitch and he nailed the ball on the first pitch! The coach had the whole crowd cheering him on before he hit. It was so cool and all caught on tape!

So that's what's going on with us...and we have 178 days till our disneyland Christmas trip!!! Soooo excited!

Hope you all are well. Again please look for me on facebook if you're on there.

Hi all! Another drive by posting. I do keep up with the reading, but don't get much time to post. I'm so sorry!

Been pretty busy with the kids' end of year stuff and studying for the bar exam. This week had scouts, band concert, 8th grade awards ceremony (Ethan got three awards, one for a 4.0 for two years, one for honor's society, and the final one was a Presidential award that he got for being nominated by the chairs of the different departments.) Then, Friday was Zoe's reading award in the morning and dinner/dance end of year party at school. In between all of that, I've been fitting in studying as much as I can. I'm honestly worried about the exam. I've passed the MN one, but the CA stuff is just kicking my butt! My mom's here now, for Ethan's graduation and to help with the kids while I study. As many of you know, that's a double edged sword!

Been thinking about you and missing you! I will be taking a quick trip to DL with Zoe on 7/1 for a girlfriends daughter's bday. (Zoe and she are good friends.) Other than that, don't know if I'll do Disney before the exam.

Big hugs to everyone. Encouragement to those who need it. Props to those who deserve it.
