Breezy – It sounds like you had a wonderful time. Since I’ve been 21, I still haven’t made it to Vegas. Sigh.

Dawn – Please let Melody know her and her family are in our prayers. And thank you for sharing her princess story. Sometimes I need a reminder that we can’t take tomorrow for granted.

Beth – I hope your doctor’s appointment goes well. Tons of prayers and pixie dust for you.

I want to hear what cranial sacral therapy is!

The woman I go to isn't a chiro, she is a massage therapist who has been doing cranial sacral therapy for 11 years. I'll walk you through the session...

I was lying on my back the whole time (fully clothed it's not like a regular massage) She began by holding my feet and gently pulling my legs away from my sacrum (lower back/tailbone area) Then she read my energy somehow to find out where the pain was. Then she placed one hand under my lower back and another on my hip and very subtly moved my spine and hips to align my sacrum. That took awhile and I could tell it was working because my guts started gurgling. It was a really weird sensation. Then she worked her way up to the middle of my back and worked on my kidney area... somehow she knew that I had kidney problems. Then she spent a lot of the time working on my upper back and sternum (that KILLED even though it was very subtle) ... again, she knew that I had pleurisy recently without being told. By then my head felt like it was about to explode and my eyes bug out of my head. She worked on my head the longest since that's where my problem area is. I am VERY in tune with my body so the subtle movements seemed ginormous to me. Today I feel like I've had my butt kicked but everything feels aligned and evenly distributed. She gave me this thing to put behind my head for 15 min a day to keep me aligned. Then I go back next week. It was only $55 for an hour and 1/2!

She's looking into different therapists in Santa Barbara and checking out their experience and education to see who would be most reliable. I'd be happy to give her your zip code for some recommendations for you. It'll do wonders for your fibro. It allows you to handle atmospheric pressure changes extremely well.

That's the Sirens of TI. It's a free show nightly at Treasure Island. It gets crowded and it's standing only, so get there early if you want a good spot.

That show, the Mirage volcano, and the Bellagio fountains and conservatory are all freebies that everyone should see while in town. And the Freemont Street Experience, but I know you'll see that since you are staying downtown.

Yeah we're actually staying at the Golden Nugget which is basically on top of the Freemont Street Experience. Less than a month to go!

Hope you all are having a nice day. I ended up taking off today and tomorrow because of Josh. We just couldn't keep staying up through each night (we're taking shifts) and keeping up with the kids and me working. I'm happy to report that Vash has eaten twice and hasn't gotten sick in almost 24 hours. We're taking him to the vet later this morning to get some more IV fluids and a couple of shots, just want to make sure he's on the mend.

Oh no. That's so sad. My thoughts are with them right now. And thanks for sharing that special moment she had with her mom and sister. I agree that tomorrow is not a given, and we should try not to take a single second for granted.

As for me, I am having a fine day. It is really pretty weather around here and I am enjoying it. I will be working some overtime this coming week but that is ok because the money will help pay for my disney trips!...and maybe some towards a downpayment on a new house.

Bree – Sounds like you had a great time! My DD will be 21 next May and her BD request is a trip to Vegas but I don’t think she’ll have as much fun as you did going with me and she needs me to go to pay! She’ll have to plan a trip with her friends at a later time!

My mom met with her dr. yesterday and they have scheduled her surgery for June 29. I was going to go to Denver for the week of June 14 but I have changed my plans so I can be there for her surgery. They won’t really know if the cancer is contained in that one nodule but he is planning to explore and make sure that it has not spread into her lymp nodes and if it has then he will take out all affected tissue. I am anxiously waiting for her surgery so we’ll really know what is going on.

Cheryl I am also glad your kitty is sounding better. Again I know how hard it is to have an ailing beloved pet. I hope he continues to do well!!

Beth by now I hope you are home and that all went well at the docs!! Here is hoping for some good vibes and that everything turns out ok!!!

I just got home from work and am going to have to pop out again here soon to get the girls. Only ONE more day left till NO MORE SCHOOL! Woo HOO! I wish I could say that I could relax next week but I have to work on Monday and then I have SUPER early doc apts on Monday and Tues and I have to take the girls to my parents so dad can watch them. BLEH! Then mom and dad leave for Mexico which always stresses me out cuz I have to "hold down the fort" both at their place and at the office. YUCK! NOT looking forward to that. But at least I don't have to take the girls to school! And I made those two doc apts cuz I can't go while mom and dad are gone so after these first two I don't have any more till after they get back. So that is one good thing.

Oh and I forgot to say that we have a kitty who has adopted us. It just showed up at our house a few days ago and we shooshed it away but now it showed up at our basement door and started meowing as if it wanted in. At first I thought it was our cat piper but then I went and opened the door and it was this cat and it actually tried to come in. It was obviously a cat someone had abandoned and I feel bad for it cuz it seems to be a nice cat but I am worried about it possibly giving piper diseases or fighting with her. Of course the girls and shane want to adopt it but I am not as anxious to take on another pet! Although it appears it is NOT going to go away. It is just SITTING there not moving! GREAT! LOL.

So like it or not it seems we may have a new pet!

Anyway they say it is supposed to storm again today so not sure about practice tonight but I guess we will have to wait and see. Other than that that's bout it for me.

Tentativley, I am planning to join you all so add me as a yes and as it gets closer to the date and I figure out my vacation days budget I'll confirm. DBF will be off to Boy Scout camp and I am going to the Backstage tour on Sat. morning and then I have a convention at the Anaheim Convention Center on Tues and Wed. June 23 and 24 so I decided I'll just stay at DL for the weekend and work from the hotel on Mon. Anything for an excuse to go to DL!
