Poor Debra.. she's having to do physical therapy for her knee.. she's been hurting with that darn knee all summer. i wish i had a magic wand to make it all better.

Thanks! I will be there September 16-21...I think you are going to be there right before or right after me, right? It's a bummer because I think we are going to meet up for a meal with a bunch of the divas....I think Vicki and Linda and a few others will be there at that time. I suppose we should start discussing the meet! I believe we were trying to do a meal between the 18th and 20th....who all was interested and where shall we eat?

I also got a call from my school. I graduated with a 3.99 GPA and officially have my AA. Finally. Now I am on to get my BS. I will be setting up my classes this week. I am so excited. I start class on the 28th. I will soon be taking the Praxis like Capri. Maybe she can hook a sistah up with some tips.

Thanks Steph! We live in the country and right now we are connected to our neighbor's water with a hose. Which doesn't give us a whole lot. Dave is going to try and hook up to our other neighbors today.


LOL! That made me laugh as our well is literally sucking air.

We have to drill our well deeper. We are getting a deal, cuz the guy who is going to fix it, happens to be a dad of one of Kaitlyns good friends, and we have also known him for years. Our good deal is about $10,000 dollars. Believe me, this is good. We were scared, it was going to be way higher. And we have to wait, as the drillers are super busy right now. Everyone's wells are drying up. It is quite scary!!! We need rain!!!

I'm just thankful that it went out while we were at home. We have automated sprinklers, with about 3/4 of an acre in grass, planters and trees. If it had gone out while on vacation next week, it would have burned out our whole well motor. And then you are talking more big time trouble!!

I'm trying to look at the bright side of things, can you tell?

The only reason I know the very itsy bitsy info I do is because of the movie Baby Boom

Lavern and Shirley. I love that. Sarah might not know who they are - being so young.

I love Laverne and Shirley. When my sister and I were little we would watch block party summer on Nick at Night and we would freeze abba zabbas and eat them while watching Laverne & Shirley. I'm now watching the whole series via netflix!


January - I say do it! too because I know a few girls who have had serious back problems because of being...ahem, top heavy.

I hope you all are having a good day. I just got back from my consult with the plastic surgeon. After probing my bbs and taking pics (humiliating, btw) he is submitting it to the insurance. Hopefully I will be getting these babies reduced before I go back to work at the end of next month.

January - I had the girls reduced and hefted up in 1994 and it was the BEST decision I ever made! Feels so much better. Don't worry about the pics - at least they stay in the medical office You will need to rest for a bit after though, a couple of weeks with no lifting, etc. Still, good decision

Deb, I hope your knee is feeling better soon. That sucks to be in pain! Plus you have to do a Vegas trip soon, right??? A pain-free do-over

It's so funny though, every time you and I try to meet up, it usually doesn't happen! I'm not sure what happened last week, but my family was running me all over the place!! It took me 2 days to catch up from the 2 days in Disneyland!!

Linda---I am so happy to get it done. I have been wanting to for awhile. I have been having some back pains and since I have been exercising and losing weight, I feel like they are holding me back from getting to my goal.
I just hope that insurance covers the surgery. He couldn't find his camera so he used his iPhone.

He wants to go B cup for me since I am so small. That sounds good to me. I hate having bbs. They just get in the way.

It's kicking my butt, to tell you the truth! And, regular life and mommyhood invades, too, so it's not entirely focused time, too. My exam is 7/28 and 7/30, I get to skip the 7/29 part since I've already taken it in MN.

Thank you all for the great welcome! I kept asking my DH over and over if he thought I should go, finally he looked at me and said, " I told you to go on the last 2, just book it already" I'll book a room as soon as I can
Most of my family and the ladies at work think I go to Disney too much already and would not understand going without my kids so I'm just booking off time to go on a Ladies Retreat, they don't need to know where.
