Day Three - Sunday
Our trip was from April 26th to May 3rd.
We are going to MK this am, there is a Specto and Fireworks tonight, but also on Monday at MK, we'll do the parade and fireworks on Monday night.
We took the boat to MK from the Lodge. We go to FW first, about 35 mins to get to MK. grr.
Did Splash Mt, BTMRR and it is not too crowded. We stop at Diamond Horseshoe for a quick bite, muffin, it is good. Did HM and we saw the Hidden Donald. The new tombstone is great. We then got FP for Pooh and shopped a little. FP was a return of 11:30 so we went to see the show in front of the castle. It's a cute show, but there are very hot young ones. Poor kids. I have my misty fan and I do spray some of the little ones around us. Glad I brought the bottle. The tempeatures have been 91 during the day with low's around 70 at night.
Did Pooh, love this ride. Lunch in tomorrow land, good chicken caesar salad.
Back to the lodge, via FW. Did get good pictures of the lodge.
We then went to the quiet pool, at the villas for a swim, and lounged around the beach. It's quiet at times. We were there for a couple of hours. People come and go quickly. They stay for about 10 mins then leave.
We shower and get ready for EPCOT. No one is on the bus with us. We found the leave a legacy and also my nephew's. We shopped at Mousegear, bout a Princess Minnie, a Mickey soap dish for the new bathroom. Met Gabe, a CM who had gone to U Mass. Walked thorugh the butterfly garden then on to America to catch Orleans. We walk in the opposite direction of Dreams parade.
What are we going to have for dinner. Well Turkey legs of course. We eat Turkey legs while watching Orleans, great show. They are "still the one".
Walked around after the show, then back to the Passholder viewing area near France. Nice view from here. Can see a lot.
Great show as always. Headed back for the bus stop, walked on the sparkling lights. Love that. The crowds are not too bad. We were the last ones to get on the bus and I struck up a conversation with the bus driver. It has been getting busier down here. She is doing a lot of training, and has not had a day off in a month. She'll be off for a day when her grandson comes for his first Disney trip next month. With the traffic, she re-routes the bus and takes us to the lodge first. Thank you.
Oh today, when we got back to the room, Mousekeeping had made a dog out of towels and the dog had the remote control and was watching TV with Minnie. Cute.
We went to the hot tub and then to sleep.
