I wouldn't call it messing.
She doesn't really like him much, from what I can tell. It's kind of a hate filled friendship she has with him. It's possible she might have a thing for him, that I'm not aware of.
She's under the impression that he likes me, and she kind of knows that I like him. She doesn't know for certain because I wouldn't tell her that. She just thinks I do, and she thinks correctly. Ha, she said he was my boyfriend last night -rollseyes- (My best friend has said this before too, but she was just teasing me. He came for math help at lunch and he was sitting awfully close to me, so she called me out on it after he left).
I'm almost certain he does not like me, and even if he did, he won't be asking me out. Most of my reasoning is he spends a lot of time with girls, I know he hates two of them he hangs out with. Another though, I don't know. They work together, and he practically sits on top of her sometimes..

I had a staring incident recently too....

well i went to this youthgroup i'd never been too and there were about 7 kids there lol, so these 2 girls were nice to me and I brought a chair over to the circle of people, and there was actually a kid from my class there. I DONT like him at all, but I ended up sitting between him and his sister. I saw only 2 other guys and one stood out to me. He was tall, cute, extremely funny...and I was sitting directly across from him. So, one of the youth leaders was talking to us, and I was looking at her..and I just happened to look at that guy and he was already staring at me! I was like omg......!! I just acted natural lol...but the entire nite this went on. We kept making eye contact and it was weird because he was the only guy who caught my eye. He told jokes and sometimes i was the only one listening so he'd look at me and we were both laughing. It was like the whole nite was just looking at eachother and laughing, without speaking to eachother. Very strange, but I totally enjoyed it! Later that week, I found out that he was 5 years older then me, but that's really not that much. But, kinda...he might have thought I was older. I have no idea...but does anyone know what I should do?

Liking older guys is not an option for me right now.
What I mean, is I'm never really around them.
The next three years it's possible, but it's not right now.
I only have classes with Freshmen, and I'm not gonna just start talking to upperclassmen that I don't know in the hallways.
That'd be weird.
But I have seen whole whack of ones I'd love to get to know better =)

i like a younger guy right now. he's a freshman, so its not too much younger.
usually i date older guys. i think the oldest i've dated was like a year and a few months older than me, though. maybe two years. youngest was like five months younger than me, but this guy i like now is like a year and some change younger than me. he's pretty mature though (or i'm really immature. not sure which =p)

OT...A bit I guess.
I was talking to a friend at school Friday.
I was on the computer and she just out of no where said:

"I wonder how you'd act like around your boyfriend if you had one..?"
"Huh? The same way I act around anyone else."
"No, I know that, I mean. I can't imagine you two holding hands or anything."
"Hm. I don't know."
"When you get a boyfriend I want to see you two hold hands ok?"
"If you are around when I get one, it may not be till college or later..."
"Alright, well whenever, you HAVE to send me a picture of you two holding hands."
"Alright then..."

It was an odd conversation.
Thought I'd share since It reminded me of this thread...

I was talking to one of my best friends awhile back and we were talking about guys (And girls too, she's bisexual). It was pretty funny.

yeah i actually agree, I'll like a younger guy if hes mature, but those are hard to come by, but I totally would and I have! but its just easier to come by an older guy who's mature,
lol I also have a lot of upperclassmen in my classes so it's great!

Be yourself!
I find that "Hey, whats up?" and then fill it in with "one time" storys, and just pretend that youre talking to your best friend.

Im not good with advice. My crush was my friend before crush, so I automatically talk to him.

But with 2 1/2 weeks left of school, I won't see him much after school's out. I mean I'd see him maybe once a week, but not all day like I do now.

Any ideas on HOW to ask him out and if I do, to how to make it work over summer?

I'm so agreeing on the summer thing.
School is almost out.
If I don't get a form of contact soon, I'll be without him all summer, and next year I'll have nothing but memories.
I hate this... I mean, we're getting to be good friends, but I can't see him in the summer, because from what I understand he can't hang out with me outside of school because of his beliefs.
And I'm worried that I'll lose touch, and things will be weird next year, or worse I won't even have a single class with him =/

I have no advice, as for the summer thing.
Do you have email? Does he have email? Maybe you two could talk over the phone. Plan to go to the movies, or go grab some food before the movies, or just go grab some food.

Thats pretty much all Ive got.
Even with summer coming soon, and he is going to another one. I cant ask him out, I made a promise a promise im not going to break. He made a voul (sp?) to his parents. Before he met me. Even so, I have this feeling in my heart, that he doesnt like me.

Yeah, you could say I'm very happy at the moment. So I went to Heaths house last night. First- we went to his house, I talked with his mom (whom I've never met) She was super nice. Then we went to the video store,and rented I Am Legend. Then we went back to his house, and and layed on his couch, cuddling I guess you could say We held hands. He kept playing with my hands, but I felt very comfortable being with him, I felt safe. Like we were just playing around being ourselves. Anyways, it was about 11:10 and we were about to leave, so he went to his mom's room to tell her we was leaving, and I was sitting on the couch, well you have to walk behind the couch to get out the door, and when he was walking behind it, he stopped and leaned over and our noses touched and I started laughing, and he moved down and kissed me. (now my friends pick on me saying it was a Spiderman kiss, cause it was upside down) then when we was driving home, (I live in a different town, only 10 minutes away though) he kept nudging my hand so i grabbed it, and held it. And then when we got to my house, he said Okay now get out of the car, I said okay I see, and reached to get out, but couldn't find the handle (we drove in his mama's mustang instead of his truck.) He said haha it doesn't look like your getting out huh? I laughed and reached in the back seat to get my purse, and then came back and he was leaned over and I kissed him, and his hat hit my forehead. lol. So you could say I had a very good night!
