Do you know when the GS bear will be available? I would love to take DD to get one. Her troop is using the cookie money to go to event in DC. Hopefully we sell enough cookies to pay for it.

It's available March 16, but I don't know how much the bear costs. Plus, you can buy a Daisies, Brownies, or Girl Scouts outfit.

If you have a smaller group, you can sign up for a party of six or more and can get one kid free. That might be a better deal than the coupon. The free kid is offered when you put in your amount for the party online.

Thanks for posting this! DD's Brownie troop can't decide what to do with their cookie money, so I'm going to mention this to her leader. Sounds like it's the perfect year to do it. And I like how BAB offers patch sets for the girls and their bears!

It is $15 for the bear, $5 for the Daisy vest (they have other levels, I believe, as well). We are having a party, so each girl gets a patch for her and a patch for her bear. They accept the tax exempt cert, so - with the coupon - each girl will be $18.

My co-leader and I share a birthday (down to the year), so we are having a BAB party this year

Maybe the parents could pay part and the troop pay part. They will get extras and it is so much fun if it is a party instead of just going alone.

Thats true.. we can always split it with them. This way I am not using 100% cookie money. I like to make the cookie money last until the fall product sales profit comes in.
