Girl Scout cookies (VENT)

I agree....no money, no cookies. I got burnt the first year the sweetpea sold cookies. Everyone loves to order them, but then they forget about it and dont want to pay or whatever. Now when people order, I let them know that I am "willing" to take the money at time of ordering to make it easier for them when I deliver. ;) The majority love to do it that way, and I dont get stiffed for the money later.

Id call the mom and kindly let her know that I could stop by to pick up the money to make it easier for her.

Nice to see other cookie moms out there. I never figured I would get stiffed on GS cookies LOL.

My DH works at a Navy Yard and everyone paid the day the cookies came in and no advanced notice, I was impressed.

I am going to call this woman again. If nothing I will send a pass due notice and then if nothing I will STOCK HER !!!!
(Just Kidding)

Im just upset because not alot of people realize how much work goes into these cookie sales.

Thank you all.

Even though it was not required, I collected money when the people ordered the cookies. We still had no problem selling them that way either.

And not to hijack the thread, but i remember when I was a GS, they were $1.00 a box!

It's crazy how expensive GS cookies are and you hardley get any.

But then again we dont have any problem selling them.

We had a man deliver our treadmill the day after the cookies came in and he told us a local Truck Stop ordered 250 "cases" of cookies from a little girl WOW Last yr the truck stop bought 50 cs and sold out in one day.

i will be so glad when cookie season is over lol... Monday I unloaded 237 cases off the delivery truck..

My living room is covered.. tomorrow night I have to go to my co leaders house and load up my van for our booth sale Sat.. where is is sapposed to be 35 degrees out.. Maybe people will take pity lol
