You're absolutely right. I do have a confession to make. This thread had all been part of a grand experiment. You see, a sad and lonely poster on another thread was asking why nobody views his threads. Several offered opinions, including me. Then the seed of a new idea germinated in my brain. I wondered if I used several of the suggested "bait words", would it be successful in rounding up the wild Disers that roam the savannah? It proved to be a great success. I would offer up an applauding smiley face for that OP, if only I had one, but I don't. In its place I would like to honor him with this...

If Walt were alive, he wouldn't stand for the type of treatment that my son had to endure. Depriving a poor, hurt child a drink on a hot summer day???!?!? How come nobody thinks the cm is in the wrong here? I heard that Disney doesn't even pay for the Coke. They get it for free in exchange for advertising. So what is the major malfunction this militant cm was having with my son? The hundreds of dollars Disney already got out of us wasn't enough. They needed an additional $1.99? Have we come to this point in our society where children are left to die of thirst at Disney deluxe resorts?

How much do you want to bet you just killed your own thread.

I did see that other thread, and I am sure there were a lot of others, as well. I have seen many baiting threads over the years and some take off, others die on page 2. I think a lot of it has to do with timing. If this thread wasn't on a holiday weekend, instead have it during the workday, I bet it would be buried fast. But since it's a holiday weekend, lots of people are like me and are hanging at home instead of going out with the crazies...voila, lots of bored crazy people online and ahem..drinking..which makes them crazier. (burp)

It would be interesting to see if a random Thursday in February had the same effect. Not that I mean that as a dare, just what is going on in my Bud Light tainted mind at the moment.
