Today I am off to a birthday brunch in a few minutes, then I have to do some shopping (tomorrow is my DBs birthday and I have to find him something) and finally I plan on ending the day with a whole lot of DISing, reading and lounging around in my Snuggie!!

Now, I am going to be absent for at least a few hours.

I do not want to feel left out of the new thread when I return.

So here are my strict orders:

1. I would like my name to mentioned at least once per page, preferably in a flattering way.
2. Please do not post more than 4 pages for me to catch up on when I get back.
3. Do not form any friendships, alliances, cliques or anything else that might make me feel like I no longer belong.

Actually, in Florida not too many people know that Canada even exists.
But we have cousins there (they are the ones that live in regular houses and give the rest of Canada a bad name) so we know all about it. Tho we've never been there, so they could be making up the part about living in a real house. But they do say "eh" which is really funny cuz they are the French.


Anyway, sorry to get off topic there. Back to wedding planning.

I just wanted to make a brief announcement to avoid any confusion. I'm about to start a new thread. This is NOT the sequel to our "clique" thread, so please don't treat it that way. The new thread is for parents that have lost control, so if you are one, feel free to join. I am kicking it off with a personal story taken from my life. And yes, I'm embarrassed to say that it is a true story. I'll be back in a bit to comment on some of the posts and concerns of this thread.

Ok, cool. Just a FYI as well when this thread DOES break into part 2/the sequel it probably would be good to start posting around page 248 or so that the thread is moving (like a lot of the big threads do). But considering the life on this thread is dying down (what is up with that?) we shouldn't have to worry about that for a while yet- considering each thread can have 250 pages.

I would first like to thank all those who joined in the fight with me. As you probably already know, it was a complete failure, as not one of you backed me up. Here are my impassioned call to arms that fell on deaf ears. First, the announcement...

It just wouldn't be the same thread if Wall-E didn't start it. Frankly, with the thread title changing every 5 minutes it would hard to be sure WHICH thread we are talking about anyway. Unless we just do "Part 2 of THAT thread, enough said". Hey that rhymes.

Please don't worry about the "sequel thread". I currently have a team of engineers working round the clock in order to develop the necessary software system that will enable me to begin an entirely new "sequel thread" after the 250th page of this thread. We are still working out some of the bugs in the system, but I am sure that we will be ready to go when the time to switch threads arrives.

I know all too well of the existence of Canadians and their home country of Canadia. I encounter them every day on the roads of Florida, driving at approximately 7mph on the expressway. They are a slow people, perhaps held back by the stickiness of their own maple syrup.
