I am driving myself crazy Here trying to come with wording for our girl scouts bridging to brownies ceremony dinner invite. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks
Troop 42 invites you to their Bridging to Brownies ceremony and dinner.
Date, Time, Location
My girls made their invites (I think it fulfilled one of their bridging requirments.) I printed off similar to above on white paper because writing all that out would have been painful, if not illegible. (Mine bridged when Brownies started in 1st grade, so this was Kindergarteners.) They pasted inside colored card stock and decorated them- glitter and gel pens, the favorite supplies for my girls!
We let the girls vote and none of them wanted to do twist me, turn me and show me the elf. (But it's tradition, lol)
We did a "baking brownies" one (not the same one as on the link you posted, but similar, I got it off a google search)- something of recipe- take 10 Daisies who had seasoned for a year, add a bit of adventure and a dash of friendship, etc. Finish them off with a hug (the other coleaders and I, dressed in aprons and potholders) and pop them into cook. (The girls make a huge oven backdrop that said "Little Brownie Bakers".) The came out the other side when the timer went off- wearing their new Brownie vests. We celebrated with colorfully frosted brownies (the food kind!) as a treat.
Mine are going to jrs this year and basically they rewrote the Brownie thing we did, only now they are brown caterpillars who will go behind the garden backdrop and emerge as green (vested) butterflies
