Don't worry, I didn't know either, so I looked it up. It said a low bleating sound, kind of like a sheep. You know the sound a sheep makes?

..my only issue is how are they looking it up when their suppose to be traveling the land with Simba and the gang and have no technology. She didn't look it up!

Yup. That little bit of dialogue has always bothered me, too, from the very first time I heard it.
The actress is basically required to "break character" to say it.
