Giraffe at Gatwick Airport

With the closure of our favourite Gatwick restaurant, F&B's , we are looking at eating at Giraffe instead.

Just had a couple of questions about this restaurant if anyone who has been before would be so nice as to answer them for me!

It says on the Giraffe website that they close at 9pm every night. Is this the time they serve food until? We might not be there until about 8:00 - 8:15. 9pm close sounds early to me!

We will have our luggage with us. When we used to eat at F&B's there always seemed to be room close to us where we could put our luggage while we ate. Is there room to do this at Giraffe?

The 9pm closing time is just the time they stop seating new guests.

Yes, there is room for luggage in the restaurant.

We didnt like it when we ate there in may, they were very slow at serving

Had breakfast there last week after returning from Hamburg. Service was very slow, and the restaurant was not even close to being busy. Thought the food was just ok, considering the price. There is a large space just inside the entrance for luggage.

I like Giraffe, photos my West Coast TR, I didn't have any service issues.
