Most of what you say is spot on, but this is a little off. If you want your home entered into the Reunion Rental Program, the furnishings have to be to an approved standard, but even then you don't have to purchase their packages - you're quite at liberty to source your own.most of the homes are the same inside (at least they're all high end!) as you had to use THEIR furniture stores / packages, this sort of thing
We attended the Foreigner/Frampton and Kenny Loggins/Doobie Brothers Homecoming Weekend outdoor concerts - I'm even in the videoReunion is really putting a lot of $$ into marketing their resort, ads all over "Golf" magazine, free concerts with bands like Peter Frampton, the Doobie Bros onsite, etc. The question is, will they be able to "sell" this place for top $$ given a big marketing budget?
. Boy, does Bobby Ginn know how to put on a show! (He's a huge fan of live music, apparently). The LPGA contract was a huge coup and they've done a fantastic job so I can't see any reason why it won't be extended beyond the original 4 year deal. Big Break VII - Reunion has raised its profile further still. The Ginn Company certainly shows no sign of any nervousness over this venture and more and more resorts based on a similar blueprint are in development and being announced all the time. That suggests to me that they consider it to be a huge success. Furthermore, we're thinking of booking a stay at the Reunion Grande this August, but Reunion itself isn't marketing it at all at the moment, even though it's already open. That certainly doesn't smack of a Company struggling to make ends meet.
