Gingerbread house is gone

Well sadly the took down the gingerbread house at GF today (actually as i type this). Sorry to see it go. Only took them about two hours to take it apart. They took it down too early in my opinion. There has been tons of people coming down to the main floor and wondering what happened to it...

Christmas is over ,as is New Years..Anything after New Years Day is fair game to be taken down..it goes up early November ..needs to come down sometime

I have always believed that all Christmas decor needs to be taken down before Jan 1st because Jan 1st is a new year which represents a fresh start to me.

I bet the lobby seems empty now though.

I don't know, we don't take our stuff down until May or June. Our neighbors love us...

I will say the crew who took it apart were very orderly and careful. They took it apart rather then tore it apart and ended up leaving the room spotless. It was interesting to watch. Good crew, good leader...

I agree, what Bride having an early January wedding wants leftover Christmas decorations up.
