We recently had some from Aunt Cass Cafe in DCA. Very fresh and toothsome.
I don't know that place. Is that the former Harbor cafe with the bread bowls? Do you know how they compare to the other gingerbread cookies? We recently had some from Aunt Cass Cafe in DCA. Very fresh and toothsome.

Thanks. I'm curious about the yellow star. Do they just have them left over from the full body Mickey that they don't seem to be making anymore? Does it have chocolate on the back?I haven’t noticed anyone talking about the Mickey head that’s soft gingerbread. It’s very similar (if not identical) to the full body Mickey. It’s easier to get via mobile order at multiple locations.

It definitely has a very thin layer of icing that is nearly translucent, similar to the full body Mickey (last year at least—I never got my hands on a full body Mickey this year).Wait, is that a new Mickey/Minnie gingerbread head??? Please tell me they haven't done away with the previous gingerbread head!! There is no icing on this one and you just get sprinkles?? Sprinkles don't even belong on gingerbread IMO.
Hmmmm Starbucks sold the full body mickeys last year. They had the red-dipped Mickey heads at Candy Palace and similar places. But that one is really different, hard and dry. Not like the Mickey head I show above—that one is soft and spicy like the full body Mickey and not at all dry.So, are the full body Mickeys still available? I thoughtJollyHoliday had them....not a fan of just the head ones...the one I got at Starbucks last year was dry.
Maybe you got a bad one last year? I've always loved the Mickey heads because they were so soft. I bought 6 last December to bring homeHmmmm Starbucks sold the full body mickeys last year. They should be good! Put them in an air-tight container. I have some right now that are 14 days old and still yummy! How long do the cookies stay fresh for? We bought 2 one for me one for mom but they both ended up coming home with me. Wondering if it will still be good on Christmas. 12 days after we bought them.
