Ginger candy?

I'm not even bothering to go looking anymore. I can buy direct, in bulk, and get a wider variety of flavors. Much easier and one less thing to be looking for prior to the trip.

I am thinking of putting some in gift bags for the kids to sneak into the fish extentenders of fellow DISers.

I looked at the link you listed. (Thank you!) It had a store I shop in at least once a month. Their price is less, AND no shipping cost. (3 varieties, several sizes/types of packaging.)

I also thought they might be good in FEs.

We were on the Disney Wonder in early March, and I stated to get sick while still in port...... (I get motion sickness easily).

I had watched Mythbusters a few months ago, and they had an episode on motion sickness. They found the best non-commercial drug cure was ginger.

Before the cruise, I bought ginger tablets at my local drug store (I found Gravol had a 100% ginger tablet, in the same section as the other motion sickness pills). The ginger worked great, with no side effects.

How often do you have to take these things? Do they last for hours & hours or just a couple?

The ginger capsules say right on them to take 3 times a day. The ginger candy is supposed to be about the same amt. of ginger per piece as the capsules, I believe.

My DS recommended the Ginger Pills for me as I cannot take any of the OTC remedies. He got extremely sick on one of the coasters at IOA and having an annual pass was quite upset. He researched it and took the pills before he went and was able to do the coasters without embarrassing himself. I start taking them the night before the cruise and take one close to departure.
As you can see in my signature, our first ever cruise was during Hurricane Jeanne. I knew if I had not taken the pills I would've been running out of the dining room like so many passengers that night. They do work. I have never tried the candy exclusively but have the gin gins and think I bought them at Ross.

Another vote for the ginger capsules. I start taking them a couple of days ahead of departure and have had no problems. Of course, fresh air helps too. I still tell my husband I NEED a veranda because I get seasick! ;)
