Is it because they are directly on the ground Jules? Wonder if they put them on bricks or something to get them off the ground they'd be ok![]()
I believe it is to do with them being on the ground Matt, when we lit the fire in the bbq, the site manager came to ensure that we were not making a camp fire, apparently due to the problems some of the local residents have caused about some of the site being National Trust ground, the council are closely monotoring any fires that go on there. When he came to check on ours it was fine, as the fire was off the ground in the bbq, however, the people who were camping just up from us had literally made a fire, and burnt the grass badly.
