for those who don't want to camp www.travellersrestinn.com is five minutes walk away, the gilestone website also mentions a five minute walk to The Star Inn which is a cracking little pub

the pubs around there are lovely to Jen they are all on the Canal, the Star Inn features all sorts or real ales which should please Matt and Kev, it is a nice area, nothing there mind you, just pubs and a little village shop I think.

it says that they will light a cap fire whilst we sit around on tree trunks, did you also see that they cater for various goups, they mention scouts or stag weekends, wonder what'll they say when I say we are a Disney group, maybe they'll hire some costumes and dress up to entertain us ...

yes Jules it looks great, don't worry lovie I'll definately be in the tent in the field, Callum wouldn't stay in a B&B if you paid him! (weird kid - so used to five star hotels but campings his fave!) we definately need one that'll let us have a real camp fire, else we might as well be at Butlins, also we need to do smores and toasted marshmallows and pretend we're at the Fort Wilderness campground.

great stuff. we shall have to wait and see what Deb and John think now, I know that Tam had mentioned hiring a tent too, so that may be of interest to the Stringers, when they log on later and let us know what they think, I can give the site a ring and make some enquries, I will let them know we need a Chip and Dale for the campfire
