Gifts to Room

So I am bringing 3 young girls... 5,3 and 1..... So I would like to get them each a autgraph book so they can get it signed while at parks and restaurants.

But I am looking for it to be in the room when we get there or come soon after. We also will have 4 adults... so if I could do a combo of the autograph books, some snacks and some beer as a big baskter that would be great.

Any idea's? I saw the Disney Florist thing but I think that is pricey.

it can't be delivered until before you check in unless you pay for the expensive celebration packages other wise you can tell them when you will be checking in and request delivery for some time after that or if checking in later in they day they can leave it at guest services and you can pick it up... i have to say when i did it i was dissapointed... i ordered a halloween "package" and it said they had the option of substituting items in the package but they substituted everything to the point that it wasn't even what i ordered and i had to buy the other things i had been expecting (and wanted to get ) at the parks after i got the package... they called it mickeys pumpkin something or other and it didn't even come with the mickey pumpkin it was supposed to it came with a reuseable shopping bag, but delivery was on time so at least there was that, way over priced imho.

Can't help you with the adult surprises, but you could bring your own autograph books (made or purchased) and sneak them out of the suitcase when the kids aren't looking.

The Disney Store online sells the same autograph books and pen that are in the parks.

We've used Memories by Betsy in the past. She can't have it in the room before you check in but can have it at the desk to be delivered that day. She can do autograph books as well as a lot of other fun stuff, she has a site where you can see some of her stuff. We have ordered stuff from the disney store online to her address to be included in our baskets.

We have also used the disney florist on several occasions and haven't really had any issues.

I think Betsy may be the only one, I have used her twice and several friends have also used her. She can't put food in the baskets (Florida Law) but she can help you with the stuff for girls.

If you want food you can order from garden grocer and have it delivered.

I just wanted to say thank you for posting about Betsy. I e-mailed her today about baskets. I knew what my boys were wanting, but was looking for some cheap ideas to add a couple of little extras. She helped me come up with some ways to get my boys what they wanted plus helped me cut some costs on the baskets where I needed to. She is very quick to replying to e-mails too. I tried to contact Disney themselves about getting baskets made with all the things that my boys wanted (which wasn't a whole lot, but a few things they just wanted from the park.) they were pretty expensive. She seems to be cheaper. thanks again

I did the Disney Florist for my DH in Sept as a surprise anniversary gift... I knew he would need some snacks in the room. I made a custom gift... I called and put excatly what I wanted in my gift... I also told her I didnt want to go over a certain amt $100... when I was done picking everything out she gave me my total and I was excited to know with delivery and everything it was $86 total.. DH was so excited when he saw it in the room... just wanted to let you know that yes the package do look expensive but you can make them what you want. If I knew how to post pics I would but if you wanna see them PM your email and I will send them to you.

Unfortuantly I couldn't get that lucky. to make sure that I had everything in the basket that my kids want it was going to cost me alot. Not sure why though. To be honest I thought it would be cheaper since it was Disney themselves, but for some reason it was more expensive. Not sure why though. I suppose it just depends on how much you want. With 3 kids it added up quick. lol!! Don't get me wrong I am not knocking the people who do the room gifts for Disney. I have heard they do a great job. I just couldn't afford to do the same package through them.
