Gifts for teachers?

I just thought about getting presents for Meg's teachers from Disney. She can give them to her teachers when school resumes in Jan. Meghan has VATERS Association and RAD. She attends an early preschool special needs school and has three teachers in her class. What do you all think would be appropriate gifts? I gave gift certificates to my other children's early grades teachers...but figured it would be cool to buy them something from Disney....ornaments? But they won't get them until school resumes. Hmmm....

Hi Sereneone. Every time we go to WDW I always pick up a thought for my kids teachers and a favorite of mine is the Disney 'Teacher' pin. So far the kids have only had female teachers and so far they have all worn the pins in school... I guess we are building a kind of club so that all my kids teachers can recognize each other by the pins I guess if it were a male teacher I would go for a bag of candy or a gift from WDW Star Tours like a pen or a mug.

PS I collect the ornaments and plates myself but have not yet gone that route just in case the teacher doesn't celebrate Christmas... but if I knew 100% that they did celebrate Christmas they are wonderful.

As a teacher I like getting the mugs or a cool Mickey pen. I actually have one of each from former students. The pins sound neat and I would wear it alot. My DH is a teacher and if he wore ties to work I bet he would use it as a tie pin.

these are some good ideas i will keep them in mind for our trip in december and my dd is also in preschool. I have a few gifts already in storage that i bought from the christian store when they went on clearance last year, but something from disney would be a nice addition and maybe ill save the gifts for preschool graduation

I love the gift I got last year...
It was a framed picture of one of my students with Mickey Mouse. I really love it as I can look back and remember Tiffany. Just an idea.

We always bring DD's & DS's teachers each a WDW tote bag....the kind that have been a resort gift shop promotion in the past (spend $40.00 & for another $10.00 you can get a WDW tote).

For our trip this past May, I don't think Disney was running the tote bag promotion, so we had to choose other gifts. I remember that we got DS9's teacher a $10.00 WDW tin of jelly beans because we remembered that she loves them!!

We are going in May, and I plan on getting 2 Epcot Passports, one for my DD and one for her teacher!! Educational, since we will be taking DD out of school for a week, and fun for the teacher to also share with the class!!

I was there mid-May and came home with 3 of them. Too bad I didn't think of giving them to the teachers at the end of the year!

Last year we got dd's daycare teachers disney travel mugs. The loved them.

We have given nice pens to a couple of my dd's teachers. They have some really pretty refillable silver pens for around $15 at most of the stores. We also got a book of all the presidents at the little store by Liberty Tree Tavern.

DH and I took a bunch of hs kids to WDW last year and took our kids along. So they missed some school.
Maura and Connor's teachers told them to say 'Hi!' to their favorite characters for them...so we got them each a key chain with that character on them!

I ran into Connor's K teacher on the first day of school, and her key chain was attached to her WDW lanyard around her neck. Who knew she was a WDW addict too?
