[Stuck in Iraq]

Excuse me if this is a routine question but I looked back to the first of the month and didn't see it addressed. My wife and daughter are sailing on the Wonder on August 1st and I would like to have a couple of presents waiting for them in the cabin. Brief background: I'm deployed in Iraq and have limited phone access. I know Disney has the Magical Treasures program but the cruise line must be doing so well they don't need my business because they haven't responded to 2 emails so far and I don't want to blow 1 of my precious morale calls on the 1-800 number. Does anyone know of another source for cabin gifts that allows online orders? Thank you,

First, welcome to the cruise board!!!

There is woman who owns a shop on Cocoa Beach who is wonderful at putting gift baskets together and delivering to the ship...she is very reasonble and many, many people from these boards (including myself) have used her.

Her name is Shirley.

I do not have her website handy but I am sure someone else will on these boards.

A Canadian here who wants to thank you for your service...I did not agree with our prime minister here to not send troups...

I am glad that someone is doing the right thing...God bless and come home safe. Please know that there are many Canadians who support you and pray for all of you to return safe.

My step-brother is just back from Afganistan...I can only imagine what you have to go through...Your wife and daughter are very lucky to have such a caring person look out for them.

Thank you all very much for the information and your good wishes. The gift baskets have been ordered and I don't think my wife suspects anything yet. She's very hard to surprise. I'll be home in a couple of months to see the pictures, then we can start planning for a cruise that includes the whole family. Thanks again, you folks are wonderful.
