gifting available yet?

any news of the opportunity to " gift " a mysterious item this year? As much as I appreciated all that i received last year, i do hope our " gift" this year isn't another candy cane. A room can only hold so many of them

Christmas 2005 we got green wreaths
Christmas 2006 we got Pink Candy canes.

Im hoping they quit giving us Christmas decorations since Christmas is almost over the day we get them. I would love to see something different. Like a decoration or furniture for the room that last the entire year. I agree I love all I got and wont complain anyway. Seems to me we only had a couple weeks to do the gifting last year. I suspect it will happen later in December.

Although i just had a thought: Those WDW Snowman would make awful nice gifts wouldnt you think? ROFL We would all be the envy of the kingdom then ;-)

And considering Channukah begins next week, wondering if we might get an opportunity to have Channukah goodies, or if we are going to have to wait 3 weeks.

Im not that excited. Last year I got no candy canes at all. Hopefully better luck this year.

No.

In contact us there is a section called gift a friend or something, and you put down a name. They take some amount of credit from you for that gift.

This is what I do. I have my mules by my gifts and then I go around gifting my friends. 2 reasons for this. One if you do not spell the name correctly even case sensitive the item does not get delivered. So this stops that from happening. Two because the gifts are anoymous your friends never knows who sent it. Going around and wishing your friends merry christmas is so much nicer. Oh and if my friends are broke I still have the special item and do not look like a loser The first year I got one and felt so bad. Will not let anyone feel that so I always get extras for that reason to cheer another diser up. But I always send in a mule for that so it stays anoymous.

correct. The items are just in your inventory. You get no messages.

At least thats the way it was for the first 2 years.

Yeah, I need to start saving up credits. I only got one out of both years, and that was because a friend realized I didn't get any in the second year and gave me one of theirs. Regifting, but I'm still thankful.

Send more to yourself then you do to other people.

The first year I got one from a friend, I sent out about 25.
The second year I got none either, but I sent myself 25.

As to want I want for the gift:
Can we say "Ice ice baby ice ice"?
A gift that last all year.

I hope they do it again this year but I'd like to see them lower the cost for the gifts. I would like to be able to send more gifts out to friends but 500 credits a gift makes it hard to send it to all of those that I'd like.
