Just a word of warning to those flying, I have heard about people having to unwrap any gifts in their carry-ons when going through security, so if you are planning on wrapping your ornament I would wait until you get to WDW. I wouldn't want you start your trip out in a negative way.

Good Advice Pat.

I'm sending my ornaments ahead of time (through the good ole US postal service  ) to avoid such pains in my 'okole' ;)

Thanks for the great idea, Pat. I'm just going to "bubble-wrap" my ornament and bring the wrapping paper with me I think. I've heard that security is making people unwrap things at the airport, so I think this is the way to go.

Thanks for the heads up, Pat. My mom just flew back from Vegas and she told me people were asked to open their check-in luggage, too. I usually wire tie my luggage shut, so know I don't know what to do. Do I wait until I get to the airport or do I tie it here at home, and take my chances? More decisions to make!

I have already packed some Christmas gift bags and labels for the ornament exchange.

While I was grocery shopping Friday evening, I seen some new Christmas decorated Ziplock type bags. The are advertised as Gift Bags. That would be a good way to go as well.
