Gift shop question

Hi All! We will be at Disneyland/CA for 2 days the first week of May. My 6 year old LOVES Toy Story, especially Jessie, and keeps talking about getting her own Jessie doll. Does anyone know if there are any little Jessie dolls that they sell in any gift shop at Disneyland? The movies were out so long ago, that I'm not sure if they still sell Toy Story merchandise. I have seen a Jessie doll at the Disney Store, online, but it would be really special for her if she got to pick her out in person. Thanks!

Right now, with the construction/renovation of Pixar Pier, the store at the end of Midway Mania is paltry at best.... So, normally you would likely be able to get Jessie there, but since it's a tiny store right now, its less likely. I'd get from the Disney Store ahead of time. Perhaps have it magically appear in tour hotel room the first morning of you trip so the Disneyland association is still there for her?

The store you exit into when you get off Buzz Lightyear (Little Green Men Store Command) also has a large selection of Toy Story merchandise; I'd guess you'd be able to find Jessie there as well as at the Toy Story store in DCA.

I am pretty sure I recently saw a really nice Jessie doll in the store outside It’s a Small World. Nearly positive.

Everyone, thanks so much your advice! I think I will order one to have just in case we dont find one when we are there. We did a Disney cruise in 2016, but this is our first time at a park and we are all so excited!

When my grandkids were that age it was easy to buy Disney items ahead of the trip. Then pack them in the bags for a surprise when we're there.
When we'd get to the hotel the kids were always busy and excited in the room.
While they were checking things out, I'd sneak out the gift and a little letter from their favorite character.
I would usually put it up by the bed pillows.
The letter would be on home-made Disney stationary, welcoming them to DLR and offering them the gift.
Over the years, I've done this with stuffed animals, pillowcases, t-shirts...
They really like getting the letter from Stitch, Buzz, Minnie and Mickey.

While your DD won't be shopping for a Jessie, I bet she'd like to find a letter from Jessie giving her a Jessie doll.
This way you know she'll have one.

For a letter you can download a First Grade Font. It works nicely.
Attaching a Disney image to the letter page is easy. There are so many to choose from.

OK, just checked the LGM gift shop and the Emporium. Neither had a Jessie doll, although they seemed to have every other TS character. If it helps, LGM said they were simply out of them. So perhaps they’ll have them when you come. But I’ll also check the gift store near Small World shortly.

UPDATE: The SW Toy Store didn’t have them either. Might be a good idea to order one online before your trip (unless you feel like rolling the dice).

My pleasure . Just walked out of LGM about three minutes ago and I looked again. This was the only Jessie merch I saw.

Also, just had one of my best scores on Buzz ever! More than 2M on one gun and nearly 1.9M on the other! If you exceed about 2,096,000, your score resets and you lose all of your points. I was careful not to blow it .

If you have a Disney store near you check there. I bought a talking (pull the string) Jessie there. Much cheaper than the parks.

The World of Disney Store in DTD usually has a big selection.

So good news! One of the Disney instagram bloggers is at Disney today and she posted new Pixar merchandise, which included a Jessie doll! She said it’s at the emporium. It looks like a regular size one, not just a figurine. To be safe you can still buy one beforehand. Idk how fast they will sell. I took a screen shot but I’m not sure if we are allowed to post screen shots of other accounts from other sites..
