Gift Registry

I was just purchasing an anniverary gift from a gift registry and it occurred to me - wouldn't it be great if Disney had a gift registry - for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, holidays etc. I know I could add plenty of things I would like - and for some reason a lot of people don't want to give a gift card or gift certificate I know Disney has the gift cards now and of course the Disney Dollars but I sure wish the would create a registry site? Am I crazy or does anyone else think this is a good idea? Happy New Year to all.

Until that happens, my family always gives me Disney $$$$ -- which I use to save for upcoming trips

but if there was a gift registry, I would be all over it.

I guess the one challenge that could crop up is that oftentimes Disney changes out their merchandise. It would be pretty upsetting if a couple picked out several items that suddently were no longer available. However, with all of the Disney items, I am certain they would get many (if not most or even all) of what was on their registry. I still think it is an awesome idea!

My cousin and her husband registered for thier Disney Honeymoon, it was done through the travel agency, but it was great, you could donate any amount you wanted and they received a card saying you had made a contribution to thier honeymoon fund, or you could take the card and give to them as a shower or wedding gift.
