Gift Registry Item Suggestions??

With a bridal shower last week and getting to know my new kitchen items, it occured to me that it would be great to have a suggestion thread for new brides to check out for registry ideas!

I registered at both Disney Honeymoons and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I knew exactly what I wanted with the Disney gift registry but had no idea what to choose at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Taking my mother's advice in not wanting to pick items that would just collect dust, I took quite a bit of time in reviewing various kitchen applicances and such online. I think I did a good job but online reviews are sometimes hard to judge without some feedback.

I just used my Cuisinart dual blender/food processor today. The food processor is compact and has a great slicer blade. I made the best O'brien style breakfast potatoes today! I'm keeping it on the counter

Our favorite registry items: Awesome set of knives, Kitchenaid Mixer, Whirly Pop (probably makes the best popcorn EVER!), and a basting brush (DH), cheese grater (DH), Bose sound system...

I love to bake so new bakeware was a must for me!

We registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Amazon.com, Macy's and Traveler's Joy (HM registry).

I agree! When I saw they had orange and turquoise, I decided I need a Le Creuset collection in my wedding colors!

Totally! I also registered for a knife sharpener so I can keep those knives in top shape.

The other thing I just discovered I need for all the Everyday Food recipes I'm collecting is an instant-read thermometer. Not very exciting, I know...

yes!!

BUT!! If you are going to BB&B, register for Emeril's stainless set. They are made by All-Clad and MUCH cheaper, plus I love the handle on Emeril's better
I have had them for 3 years and they are the best pots I have ever owned!

DH had to get (with BBB gift cards) one of those single serve coffee makers that you put in cups of coffee grounds... Sorry I don't know the name. He loves it, and they sell hot cocoa for it too

We also got new pots and pans, new set of dishes and all new bathroom towels to replace our mismatched sets.

Oh, I love me some Le Creuset. If you're heading to Orlando, I think it's the Premium Outlet Mall that has a Le Creuset outlet store. Well worth the trip!

One thing I spurged on asking for was a 10 inch digital picture frame. But my absolute favorite thing I got from my registry was my all clad pots and pans though.
