Gift for DH

My DH loves video games and movies, I'm planning to give him a PS3 or a gaming laptop on his birthday next month. What do you think?

I think that it is a great idea as longas you are willing to accept that he may never get off of it.I bought DH an xbox360 a few years back ( he loves it) .Unfortunately, he tends to lose all track of time and forget he has a wife and 6 yr old daughter..lol

My hubby would be furious with me if I bought him a laptop. That is the kind of thing he'd want to pick out himself. The PS3 is a safe buy though. Maybe he isn't picky about his computer stuff though or you know his likes better than I know my hubby's.
My hubby just bought me a laptop for my birthday and I am anxiously awaiting its arrival.

My husband just bought a PS3 as a family gift, but honestly..I think it was more for him than anyone else. He is loving it. I don't know what types of games your husband likes, but if you do get him a PS3, don't forget to get a game with it and be aware that there is only one controller that comes with the system.

Yes I agree about the controller. Also I would get the rechargerable battery and stand that... we always do this it saves money in the long run on batteries!! Oh and dont forget the HDMI cord for better graphics they are cheaper on Amazon and EBay. Plus than too its easy to always have it ready to go. The cool thing about the PS3 too is that it is a bluray player as well.
My DH just got an XBox360 from me for his birthday and loves it. I dunno if you thought about that one but he loves the graphics on that one. Got an HDMI cord for it.
