Gift Cards or Gift Certificates?

My dad is taking thewhole family in June for a grand gathering, I thought that it would be nice to get him some sort of gift certificate or gift card for Christmas to help with his expenses while we are there...since he is already putting out thousands of dollars for 15 of us to come. Does anyone know where I can purchase them, or if there is any such thing. I could always get an american express gift card, but would prefer it be Disney.

The only thing I can think of would be Disney Dollars. You can purchase them at many Disney Stores.

I may be wrong, but I think you have to make sure you get Disney dollars and not a gift certificate as I believe the gift certificates are for the store, not the parks. Anyone know for sure?

You can also order Disney Gift Certificates that can be used in the parks and resorts in $25.00 increments through 407-W-DISNEY. They also sell Cirque Du Soleil La Nouba gift certificates. You cannot pick them up at will call, though. $3.00 standard shipping rates apply.
