I love paying for things with gift cards that I buy at target. I paid for my meal plan this year and saved almost $200. When I went to purchase my MNSSHP tickets,I was told that they could only use a max. of two GC for tickets. I was able to buy each ticket as a seperate transaction, so it all worked out. I had planned to renew my annual passes using gift cards, but since target only has a max increment of $50, I won't be able to if it is the same rule. Has anyone used gift cards to renew their annual passes? Does anyone know if the two gift card rule applies? Thank you

At all ticket and Guest Relations windows were are able to accept an unlimited number of Disney Gift Cards for a transaction. My personal record was a Guest with multiple APs purchased and I entered 23 GCs into the system.

I used like 5 GC to do my renewal/upgrade at City Hall.

Another option would be to purchase your tickets using your room charge (if you're staying on-site). You can then pay off your room charges with your gift cards at your resort.

I paid for 3 annual passes at the DVC member rate at the ticket booth, I think it was 48 gift cards. The CM was able to process the cards quickly and efficiently. There is a ltd number of payment cards accepted online so anything more than that you will have to do in person.

I used 9 $50 disney gcs (bought at Target) to buy the special rate DVC PAP back in the end of last year. Bought it by phone by calling the ticketing department. BJs also sells Disney $25, $50 & $100 gift cards at 4% off.

I used 20 once to pay for the Dining Plan when we checked in. DH was so embarrassed but the CM was very nice and said not a problem at all.

So you were able to use more than 2 per ticket via the phone? That is what I am looking to find out.

From what I understand you can only use one form of payment when purchasing tickets of only kind online and 2 when purchasing by phone.
As others have said, if you plan on using gift cards to buy your AP's then your best bet is to wait till you get the park and purchase them.

The problem is that it is a renewal, and we will not be on property during our renewal period. I may just have to skip in the giftcards.

When we purchased our AP, the girl at AK didnt seem to know what she was doing. I had about 20 gifts cards, Disney redemption rewards and my Disney Visa.

I wanted her to apply the gift cards first, then use the rewards and I would pay the balance with my Visa.

She said I could only use 1 gift card. wwhhhaaaaaa? thats not right.

Another girl came over and helped her, she said Yes, I could use all my gift cards. She said they can accept 3 different forms of payment per transactions, and that since all the gift cards are 1 form, that they combined counted as once of the forms.

Either way, they got it all figured out and we used all our gift cards, then the rewards, then our visa to pay.
