gift card refund concern

I chose the option to get a partial refund on my fully-paid WDW Gold annual pass. The refund goes to the original form of payment.

That would be a Disney Gift Card I no longer have, and is not in my Disney gift card account anymore.

How would I get the refund in this situation? I will NOT be at Disney World anytime soon as I live in California.

Im pretty sure it will default to that. But it’s always nice to get confirmation.

I had a room get canceled with this exact situation. They will email you a new gift card with the amount owed but you have to tell them you don't have the gift card anymore.
