If you use a gift card in the parks, will the receipt tell you the balance you still have left on the card?....or is it the cardholders responsibility to keep track? Thank you! I already consolidated all my gift cards into one--so happy I was able to do that!

The new balance will printed at the bottom of each receipt. You can also double-check via the gift card website.

We loved that the amount was on the slip. We always wrapped the card with the most recent slip so we knew each time we used it exactly how much was left. I had brought sharpies and post it notes figuring we could just keep a running tally on the note but wrapping with the slip was soo much easier!

Is there a way to make sure there are balances loaded on the GC? I just bought Disney GC from Target and some are saying that is sometimes a problem. I am hoping to check somehow before we leave for the trip.

If you register your cards on disneygiftcard.com, you'll be able to check the balances there. You can transfer balances to one or two cards to easily manage them.

I buy a gift card or two whenever I'm in Target and then transfer to one main gift card via the website. I always take one of the registered, but empty, cards with me in case I misplace the loaded card. The balance can be transferred to any card that you've registered.

You can also call to check the balance. 877-650-4327. Target advises that it will take "up to 3 hours" before the gc is loaded. I've read that others have had trouble; I buy them with some frequency and have never had a problem.
