Gift Card Purchase Policy Change

Effective June 1, 2011, you can no longer use the Hotel Charge (KTTW) for the purchase of Disney Gift Cards. You can still use cash, credit or debit cards, or traveler's checks.

Wonder why that is? One can certainly use a major credit card to buy DGCs, which is what one's KTTW charges are secured by.

KTTW can also be secured with cash and even giftcards. And the CC could ultimately turn out to be a bad one.

I bet they were having some problems...the CC being invalid when the charges were finally run, or realizing they were ultimately letting people buy giftcards with giftcards (by way of the KTTW)...
