My friend and her family just moved into a different house and I wanted to get them a gift basket along with the gift that I am already sending them. I wanted to find something at a resonalbe rate for the whole family. Does anyone have any suggestions and websites?

what kind of things were you thinking of? Like a new plant for their home? Or a basket of snacks to eat while unpacking? What other gift are you sending?

Reason I ask, is because I am putting together two housewarming baskets for two friends that are moving, and including necessities (okay, not truly necessities but nice to have nonetheless!) like hand pump soaps from BBW, wallflower scented oil plugins from BBW, etc... I thought I might throw in some basic cleaning supplies, since those are often packed away or thrown out before a move and often needed... Magic Eraser, cleaning rags, etc... disposable camera...

You could do a movie night theme, with rental coupons to the nearest rental place, bags of popcorn, candy, 20 oz cokes, etc so that when they do have a chance to enjoy their new home they'll have something already ready!

Sending dinner over is nice, too, since they are more than likely hard pressed to fix a meal...

I never order things, unless I'm sending flowers or cookies or something, so I'm not sure where to look, honest. I love putting them together myself, and find it to be cheaper.

I recently sent my sis a ton of cookies from Mrs Fields online and they were really nice! If you want to do a snack thingy, they have bunches of different options.

I was thinking of doing a snack like basket since they have younger kids and they all like sweets.
I may consider doing a movie basket...I also love to do gift baskets, and have done tons of them before.
I haven't checked Mrs. Fields.com, but will look there to see what there is. They live a far ways from me, so I was thinking of ordering something online.
I'm not sure if my friend will read this or not, so will not mention what I am sending except to say that it is an electrical applicance for their kitchen that the whole family will be able to use.
Thank you for the idea Aimeedyan.
Anyone have ideas on a recent good movie that is family friendly?

I have done family board game baskets before, its something different or if they like puzzles maybe some cool puzzles and snacks in a basket or a gift card tree with resturant cards decorating a small tree????

Movie theme basket is great. I've done that before with movies, popcorn, candy, a fleece throw, hot cocoa (it was winter time when I did it;) )

Another idea is a summertime basket. I don't know how old the kids are but you could include Lemonade mix, sand toys, beach blankets, food, ice cream scoop, sprinkles, chocolate sauce for ice cream.

Just a few thoughts:D

Good family movies:

Fly Away Home
Any Disney one;)
Cheaper by the Dozen (funny for older kids)
Goonies

Thank you for the ideas. The girls range from 3 till 12. I had found a gift for them, but all these ideas are really great. I am thinking of putting together gift baskets for Christmas, with some of these ideas.
