gift basket delivery

I ordered a gift baket DS's B-Day to be delivered on the day we arrive. We will get there early, probably before the florist would deliver. Does anyone know if the CM will take it to our room, leave it at the front desk, or just how does that work?

Gift baskets are delivered to the front desk of the resort. Unless you are staying CL, it will be held at the front desk until you check in. At that time, you can choose to accept it at the desk or ask that it be delivered to your room. If you ask for it to be delivered, it will arrive as soon as the resort has a runner available to do the delivery. This is true for all companies, including the Disney Florist.

Deliveries are handled slightly different at the All Stars resorts. They are made to a distribution center. The center runners make the deliveries after guest check in.

we called the front desk when we got back to our room that evening, and they were delivered. the girls thought it was cool they had a delivery just for them.

1) Timing of delivery can vary widely.
2) The "Front Desk Runner" usually delivers on a schedule.
3) But, if they are not busy, they can make special runs.
4) If not busy, even a Front Desk Clerk can deliver.
5) Just remember, that it could take a lot longer to deliver.
