gift basket delivery

If I show up at a resort with a gift basket or bag that I have constructed myself and ask the concierge to deliver it to a room, will they do it?
I was considering this for someone during Christmas, but I was afraid they might not accept these types of things.

They will accept it at the desk. If the guest hasn't checked in yet they won't deliver it to the room. If the guest has checked in it may depend on how busy they are if they will deliver to room.

it will be the Grand floridian. I was hoping since they are a little more upscale, they might be a little more accommodating.

Any of the resorts will deliver items to a room but the guest must have already checked in. There is too big a chance for mistake if they were to deliver prior to check in.

Just be sure to have you item clearly labeled with the name on the reservation and the date the guest will be checking in. It is very important that it be labeled with the reservation name. Disney holds reservations under one name. They can do a search for other names, but it is time consuming and not all CMs know how to do this.
