Gift Basket Change with you?

Shirley, if we opt for an upgrade when checking in at the port, will your gift basket find its way to the new room or will we need to go retreave it? I read where luggage had to be retreaved from hallways outside the old rooms and hope that doesn't happen with your precious cargo as well!

So far - we haven't had any problems - we pay enough for the service that they give our gifts - the problem we had a couple of times was that the baskets were taken to the wrong rooms and unfortunalty they were torn into before the mistake was discovered ---------Disney had to make it up to the customers and it of course made me angry since we make sure all of the information is right on each card ---if there has been any other problem, I was not made aware of which i would hope I would be made aware of so that I could report it to the Disney office.

PS - we must check all names on the mainfest before we let go of our baskets that all information matches what Disney's has so nope we find you regardless how many times there is a change.

We also upgraded at the port and the basket moving was not a problem, the problem came with the Wait staff, the message service and since we changed dining times also just about everything had to be rearranged, including finding lost luggage.

So be aware of the possible problems and prepare for them before they happen it will save you lots of frustration.
