Hi! I’ll be at MK on Monday 2/8 and I was thinking of maybe going to Disney springs that afternoon for a cookie from Gideon’s. Is this possible or has it been really busy and impossible to get a cookie unless you go early?

they don't shut down the VQ til 7. You'll have a wait, but youll get it

Hopefully you aren't going ONLY for the cookie! You will almost certainly have to wait a while.

Go directly to Gideon's when you get to DS and get into the virtual queue. Then you can shop and wander until they call you back. Maybe a Monday afternoon won't be bad but I would pretty much plan for a couple of hours from arrival to cookie, just so you don't think it's going to be a quick process. It might be though....I've seen a few reports of people being called back well before their anticipated return time and a few that have gotten there, thinking they would have to go into the virtual queue, and they walked right in. Hopefully you will get lucky!

But as the previous poster said, they don't close entering the virtual queue until 7 so you will get a cookie if you go in the afternoon. Enjoy!!

I’d mostly be going to the springs for the cookie, but I’d also be happy to wander and shop and maybe grab a bite to eat. I’ll be with my cousin who also has a drive home after our day at Disney!

Yes you only have an hour to return. We got in line for the VQ at 6:45 and our wait was 130 min. We went to dinner at Raglan Road and our spot opened up while we were finishing up our delicious bread pudding.

Got to Disney Springs this morning and parked in Orange garage as Lime wasn’t opened. Didn’t wait more than a few minutes to get temp and go thru security. Walked over to Gideon’s and line at 930am was already in front Morimoto restaurant. So currently waiting in line. Not sure if I’m waiting to be put in virtual queue or to eventually go inside store when line dies down.

Ok confirmed with Gideon’s employee that I’m in the line to go inside should be 30 minutes. When the line gets too long then a virtual queue is done.

That cookies and cream one , yeah ate it all. Not sorry. I got six cookies and tried a bite of them all. The other cookie I loved is the morning only special one “crumb cake” I believe it’s called.
