Giant Eagle - Disney gift card promo

Just heard that Giant Eagle is doubling the fuel rewards for buying gift cards. Now you can get 20 cents a gallon for every $50 in gift cards. Wahoooo! That should give me about $600 in free gas. I was going to book my cruise this week anyway. Very Happy!! I believe the promo only goes through Mother's day so get them quick (but stay out of my stores, I need all the Disney Gift Cards I can get).

At our Giant Eagle, that is their regular promotion (.20). It is a great way to pay for the cruise and get free gas. Gotta love it.

Wow! Ours is .10 normally. I jumped on this and should save over $600 in free gas. Or as I'm looking at it, every fill up, I move the amount I would have paid for gas over to pay on my credit card balance. It's rather large now

Yep, our GE competes with Kroger, so it is to our benefit

Don't forget that fuel perks do expire. I'm not sure how many cars you have and how often you need to fill up. Just something to remember!

But you need to do that a bunch of times in order to save $600, right? (Or is my Friday brain misunderstanding something?)

We are in the process of redoing our kitchen and I have been buying Home Depot cards at GE to get the fuel perks. I also recently upgraded my Disney Visa to their Premier card so I am getting 5% back in Disney Rewards buying the cards at a grocery store.

Also if you have a Chase Freedom, you can buy them with that, they are offering 5% back at grocery stores thru end of June($1500 max) Both my hubby and I have separate Chase Freedom cards so got enough to pay off our cruise.

I bought all I needed to pay for the cruise today but expiring will not be an issue for us. They expire July 31st. This is only 6 or 7 fill ups. We will probably not make it half way through June before they are gone.

I'm going to be getting card for our spending money as in March I paid off our cruise with dbl perks and earned just under $700
