So glad I found this... I've been upset since Friday night! IMZADI- I also like your thinking. I hope it's true!
ITA Too bad he can't do both. I don't think the new one is going to make it. IMHOI'd hate to wish Jay Mohr's new show bad luck but his character in Ghost Whisperer is so much better than the new guy's. They really seem to leave it open for him to come back.
I'm hoping you are right.Okay, now I'm thinking (hoping) there is another possibility we haven't thought of.
At the end of the episode, we see the doctors & nurses rush in. But the episode ends before they call time of death. I've never heard of someone being able to make it after an embolism, ( my limited experience coming from watching medical dramas.) What if he's simply hanging around (the whole show) in that near-death coma state?
You know, that place where people who have died & come back have said they hovered over their body and saw the crash team was working on them. Instead, Jim goes to Melinda, since he knows she can see him.
I remember something Jim said last season. They were talking about a "Do Not Resuscitate" order, and whether they would want to hang around in a coma, even if there was practically no chance of coming out of it. Jim said, if Melinda had already died before him, then to pull the plug on him. But if she was still alive, and there was even a slightest chance he could come back to be with her again, he'd stay forever.
We saw the previews where Melinda tells Jim to go on. But Jim wants to stay. Maybe it was just her saying he doesn't have to hang on in the vegetative coma, he should move on?
Maybe their "journey" is how their love for each other somehow makes a miracle happen, and Jim miraculously comes out of the coma, the doctors said he never would come out of, showing in the end, "Love conquers all."
Man, I hope it's something like that, instead.![]()
Yes, as many people as she has 'helped over', you would think someone would have talked to someone else. My MIL lives in a small town and the whole town practically knows everyone's business.Isn't it strange that they live in what seems like a small town, she owns the store in the center of the town, she's been helping people there for years and yet no one knows her or what she does. Doesn't anyone in that town talk to each other?
I'd hate to wish Jay Mohr's new show bad luck but his character in Ghost Whisperer is so much better than the new guy's. They really seem to leave it open for him to come back.
How could they do this. I loved Melinda and Jims relationship. What I'm thinking is the same thing as Imzadi. My mom was telling me that David Conrad was kinda getting bored with his character being so goody goody all the time. Maybe this is their way of spicing up his character. I'll just wait to see what happens before I decide what to do. A little curious. Hope he does come back though.
I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst. But if he's in a coma, why would Miranda say to Jim (in the previews for tomorrow's show) that he must cross over?? If he were in a coma she'd say you need to fight to get better or you need to go back into your body now!![]()
I'm afraid he is gone.I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst.
